Seriously Razor blade cartridges??? loll wow ebay is really good! | I bought some Mach3 cartridges on eBay years ago. I had no idea that counterfeits of these existed, so I didn't see any issues with ordering. These are fairly expensive items - I think that a 4 pack was nearly $20 at Walgreens and there was a 16 pack on eBay for $15! I was THRILLED to get such a good deal.
Until the first time I used them. I nearly ended up in the emergency room! They cut me in 3 places before I even realized what was going on. I called Gillette to complain and sent the cartridges to them. I was ready to get an attorney and file a lawsuit. Then Gillette came back and told me they were counterfeits.
I was stunned! Up until that point, if you mentioned "counterfeits" I thought of things like Rolex watches, or expensive jewelry. I had no idea that even cheap items were being mass-produced by counterfeiters. That was a fairly painful way to get an education. Luckily I was not disfigured by them, but that could EASILY have happened.
Needless to say, I would NEVER buy a pack of razors online again - not even from Amazon! |
