Default Got my first 0/0 limits on new account

Ok, I have 35 stealth accounts....31 of which I have made myself.

Today I made number 32 and when I was done, I tried to list and found out my limits were 0/0.

So, figuring I had nothing to lose, I called ebay.....of course the rep couldn't findm e in the data bank, but I kept joking with him (a USA rep) and finally he said, "well, the best I can do for you is start you off at 10/1K".....

I was thrilled, since limits usually get raised as long as you nurture the account.......

I want to mention that this is the first time I've taken a short cut and I did not add a bank account to the paypal account yet.....is this maybe what made me get the those 0/0 limits?

It's always good to add a Bank and won't hurt the account but I don't think that is the sole factor in 0/0 limits

I usually start most of my accounts I make with no bank account and 7 out of 10 accounts get limits and 3 get 0/0

I think there are multiple factors

So, does everybody do what I did, and call in? They look for you, don't find you , but then give you 10/K? Is that the standard thing that happens?

I did this once and the lady was like well ...unfortunately since we can't verify your identity we can't do business, sorry. Urgh...

I'm sure it was just a bad rep as we all get from time to time. I'll be trying this method and a few other after this holiday season ends. Right now creating accounts is like purposely diving into a lake filled with sharks. It can be done obviously, but after this season ends it should be alot more relaxed, security wise.

It shouldn't happen every time you make an account, so it's good to make a group of accounts , I'll make 10 accounts and 3 of them will get0/0 limits

I make all my accounts pretty much for nothing so , I don't call in I just make another account

I called in once, and they couldn't find any public data so they started me with 25/1200

Ok...thanks for the input....It was my first time getting this 0/0 thing, so I guess I'll just call in every time i get one and roll the dice........I like the line about paying a third party to remove info.......

I just listed my first iem and got 0/0 limits, called in and the rep said he couldn't locate me. It ended awful by him asking me to email photo id and billing statements.
What can I do now? should I call in again or should i Pshop the documents?

Most of the time you will need to provide documents but sometimes they end up giving you limits

It's a new account , I think it is just a lot easier and you won't waste so much time to just scrape the account and make a new one

Just make a group at a time because it seems to,be a random thing , so sometimes you can provide all the documents and still not be reinstated so you waste a lot of time producing everything they asked for, waiting on hold, and than sometimes days to a week to review and you find out the account is still closed after all that time

In all that time you could of made 30 other accounts

You're going to have to submit the documents in order to fix your limits.

I'm still not convinced it's just google voice or VOIP, I think it's many factors, I make accounts all different ways and the results are always the same , I'll always make accounts in groups because it's just a part of it that you will get 0/0 limits on some accounts

Look into Entropay for VCC, that way you won't need to Pay for it and lose it on a 0/0 account, I also create the accounts with just adding a Entropay VCC to PayPal and I'll wait to add a bank or VBA till later when i know the account is working, and I won't do the 1.95 test charge until I know the selling account has limits

I still use a free App Phone to make accounts also

So your able to make accounts for Free, and than add parts Later On

I do the same thing, create all accounts only with VCC, no VBA or Bank, and haven't had any issues. Saves time and money on wasted accounts if you get the 0/0
