'IF' being the operative word. Am sure it will be a matter of being careful.

I agree, you have to be careful and that applies to all merchant accounts as well as to ebay. I do think more competition is a good thing though.

Been asking associates who use paymate on Oztion (an Australian alternative to ebay).
Overall the opinion is that they do like the fact that funds are in the bank accounts overnight. Now this may well be in Australia only. Sent a little questionnaire out & will give
an update when completed.

I would be happy with them if they dont try to run the same antics as paypal....

GreenBean:Could you ask them about chargeback situations...?Does Paymate fight them or just throw in the towel before the match has begun like paypal

Alright..Paymate is officaly open(well not really)

Once you signup you have to submit a merchant application subject to approval from Wells Fargo.

There is an option of providing the buisness' EIN...BUT ALL owners on the accoiunt MUST provide their SSN.

I guess paymate and propay both verify through wells fargo. And I found out wells fargo works with first data only to process credit cards. So i guess paymate and propay are both going through first data.

Google First Data Merchant Services. Check out the ripoff report links.

I wouldnt touch First Data with a 100 foot pole. And I am speaking from experience.

You can submit a ACH dispute on the total amount and the bank will pull the funds back. Look into it. I had this done before with google checkout and got the full amount back. Now....google checkout then is trying to ruin my credit by sending me letters, but I have cause to fight them.

That's crooked! I bet they share the SS# with eBay, too!

Any positive experiences with moneybookers?

Ive had the account with them for the past 4 years but only used it for internationals. I think once your paid, youre paid. But I am timid to integrate it into ebay.

Any thoughts on usage since integrating?

There is a positive:

Disputes are settled THROUGH the card holder..Meaning no PayPal BS.

Paymate has Yet to approve my application even after 2-3 weeks.

Money Bookers need sno applicaiton and integrated into eBay more easily.
