Some are mate, yes. Not really those I am having so much of a problem with though. In regards to the designer good- they are genuine but not top of the range designer brands- just basica popular stuff. Those listing don't get removed- but i have recieved limits on new accounts where they have sold very qucikly, i understand this is now the norm though?

In regards to the things the keep getting removed, they are toiletories.. and also a couple of electrical products. They are both genuine items though so i cannot undersatnd why they have been removed- when both items were removed it was stated the ''property rights owner'' had reported them as 1. counterfits! 2. using their image!

Default 11 vero strikes in 7 days on new account and no suspension!!!!!

Hi. I have about six accounts going right now. Two of the accounts have each received at least 10 separate vero strikes in the last 7 days and neither have been suspended or anything at all and with a total of over 25 listings pulled on both accounts together! Both the accounts have 2 feedback and are only 30 days old so this is unbelievable. Does anybody want to chime in on possible reasons why? Maybe you get more warnings now before eBay suspends you?

Is it possible since I have not opened any messages from eBay and their warnings that this is delaying the suspension? Who knows, but this is crazy.

I wonder if ebay will be more relaxed now on pulling auctions??? and leave it all up to vero members?????

Im only thinking this because the courts ruled them out of having to monitor the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ basicaly??

Correct me if im wrong?

I'm sure you'll get suspended soon if you continue on with those accounts. Why not let the accounts cool down and work more with other accounts?

its prolly not a VERO member reporting... please copy/paste the email you got and post it here. i ll tell u if its a VERO member reporting, or a ebay automatic system that pulls risky products.

believe me dj I know if it is vero or not and it is. I can't post the e-mail because it would reveal what items I'm selling basically and the company that is veroing me if that is a word. I don't really think that it will catch up to me modee as far as the previous strikes are concerned because if they were going to they would have because the suspensions are pretty automatic when it comes to you passing that certain number of strikes that are allowed. As far as strikes in the future are concerned then yeah I'm due for a suspension so I will let things cool down a bit.

I believe the suspension has not happened because although the items are vero they are extremely low risk for counterfeit or have not been known to be counterfeited before, but more of a warning from the vero company that they don't want me selling their branded items.

It depends on the eBay monkey who pulls your listings. I've had accounts with 20 feedback have 1 listing pulled and suspended right away, the next account had the same listing pulled, but 12 items instead of just 1, with 0 feedback and it was never suspended.

So it really depends if the eBay monkey who pulls your listings got a blowjob from his wife in the morning before he went to work or not. If he didn't, you'll get a suspension, guaranteed.

lol your picture is of a monkey. It is retarded how ebay operates but at least I got lucky. All the listing violations are mc019 and trademark violations and copyright violations. I don't know how because I took the picture of the item myself, but then again its not worth it to contemplate because eBay can take your listing down at anytime for no reason and that is that.

The vero strikes keep adding up and nothing is done!!! I don't know how I'm surviving but the constant is that I have never opened up a single message in ebay nor my e-mail regarding the violations. Luck?

Doesn't ebay put a limit on how many listings (vero or otherwise) you can post on new accounts or have you linked a pp acct to it?

Default Getting Around Vero...

Ok I tried to do some research in here about avoiding Vero. I am surprised that nobody said anything about taking a picture of the original receipt of purchase in the auction. Seems pretty obvious to me. Doesn't this solve the Vero problem???

Question Removed Listing - has it been reported by vero or another E-Bayer????

I received several of the following messages from E-Bay regarding listings they had removed for trademark infringement:-

"MC019 eBay Listing Removed: Trademark Breach - Unauthorised Item

Dear

Thank you for your recent Fixed Price listing on eBay. Unfortunately, your item(s) breached one or more of our policies and had to be removed from the site. Any associated fees have been credited to your account and any bidders on this item have been notified.

Why did we remove your listing?

Trademark infringement is unlawful and breaches eBay's policies. A trademark is a unique sign (such as a name, word, phrase, logo, or symbol) that a company uses to identify its products and/or services.

Using another company's trademark in a way that may confuse buyers about the source of goods or services, or confuses buyers into believing that the seller is affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the trademark owner is both illegal and against eBay's policies. Examples include counterfeits, unauthorised replica items and items that bear the brand or logo of a company without that company's permission.

Guideline: If the product you are listing bears the brand or logo of a company, but it wasn't made or authorised by that company, don't sell it on eBay.

You may not deny knowledge of, or disclaim responsibility for, the authenticity or legality of any item you list, for example by adding a disclaimer to your listing. Before listing an item on eBay, you should make sure that you're legally able to sell the item and that it's authentic. If you're not sure whether an item is authentic, please don't list it on eBay.

Has my listing been removed because it has been reported by Vero or is it just that another E-Bayer has reported it to limit competition? I have tried to get an answer from E-Bay but to no avail!! I may be being naive here but surely E-Bay wouldn't pull listings just on another E-Bayers say so???? If it is the case that another E-Bayer is reporting the listings is there anyway to find out who it is? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Yeah, I can print out a receipt showing that I bought the entire Luis Vuitton company, inventory and all, for a buck from Family Dollar. Cut it to the right size and wrinkle it for a nice realistic photo.

I think VeRO members and eBay know about computers, scanners, image-editing and printers. If they're gonna yank a listing, I'm not sure a photo of a piece of paper with printing on it would stop them. Just my opinion, wiser heads who have done it will correct me, I'm sure.

Ha, ha...

"If the VERO twit actually replies to your email:

I typically can't wait to answer. Their emails are usually hot air, rife with empty threats and demands that violate the law. For example, one time a law firm demanded a list of my customers, receipts, etc. I told them to shove it and get a court order. They did not get the court order. I hope they shoved it. Sideways.

When you answer, try to be polite. It's difficult. I have a hard time doing so and am usually sarcastic and baiting. Never admit any wrong-doing, and feel free to ask them why they think they can commit perjury and file false copyright complaints."

I love you tell them to shove it and then the next paragraph you tell people to try to be polite.
