I've attached 4 to accounts but never made any withdrawal. The rest of the 16 are just sitting there.
With all the bad news coming out of their accounts, I'll switch to high street savings accounts.
PayPal is enough headache as it is. |

Did you manage to pass the U Account review?
Thanks!

You've confirmed that the PayPal payments into your U Account are from sales you made on eBay accounts. Are you able to provide us with a screenshot, link, or eBay ID, where we can see your name, address, and items sold?
Apart from your PayPal account where it shows your name and details, are you also able to provide us another one showing the transactions into your PayPal account and then out to the U Account?
Can you please also confirm if you'll be using the U Account solely for your sales?
We do apologise if this may come across as intrusive. The reason why we're asking these questions is to understand how the account is being used and also to ensure that we remain within the guidelines. We can completely understand your concern, but we can assure you that we will never request any information that's not related to your account or your account usage.
We appreciate your time and cooperation. | |

What money amount have you have prior to them limiting? £1k 5k? £20k
Am i right in thinking uaccount is ffrees? I have a few old frees accounts ffrees was never the problem. PayPal simply didn't like them so paypal accounts were limited fast. Is paypal fine with the uaccounts?
are accounts issued through Natwest with uaccount? |
| no!!! | 03-26-2018 05:38 AM | Re: Uaccount Added my account to PP last night, account shows as £0.01 but cant see any verification code.
Uaccount dashboard shows:
There are no transactions to display from the last 30 days.
Any payments in or out will show in this area when they've been completed.
Seems like others here get the code within a few hours, any tip or tricks? Or just wait?
Thanks |

Thanks | The same issue happened with me and discovered that the code would show within a 1-2 hour period then disappear forever. Go onto paypal and request a new code but keep an eye on the online statement between 1-2 hours after requesting a verification code |

| jayne dunn | 04-21-2018 01:42 PM | Re: Uaccount sorry isn't uaccount safe now? |
Re: Uaccount It is safe, normally reviews comes to account when you trigger their red zone
Which includes:
Too much money paid in account all of sudden
Taking out big amounts from account
too fast to withdraw like you paid £100 yesterday and you taking out the whole £100 the next day
start with slow amounts build a trust they works same like paypal
This is my personal experience i am running 5 different Uaccounts and thats best of my knowledge |
| jayne dunn | 04-22-2018 09:53 AM | Re: Uaccount So are you uaccounts all running? Limitation should be a particular case I guess |

what should i do? | Because it's a new bank account, it's the same for others, try tomorrow and will almost certainly be ok |
| craigloganbt | 06-21-2018 05:38 PM | Re: Uaccount Are these still "safe"? I just figured out i could upgrade my old ffress accounts to uaccounts so cards on the way.
Are they ok with mismatched names, for example is john smith and jonathon smith going to raise flags? What about john smith and jane doe?
I read somewhere back somebody got flagged for withdrawing 2000 .. if people get paid salaries in why is 2000 even a flag? :S |

Great how the only quantifiable data people post on this forum is their attempts to boost their post count |

Dear MR ......
We're getting in touch about an application we have received in your name. The information we have received suggests that details may have been used by another person to impersonate you.We have made decision to decline this application. If this is genuine, another application will need to be submitted either online or in branch and we ask that you send a photo of your Passport or Driving License and utility bill or bank statement less that 3 months old to SIDBankAppVetting@nationwide.co.uk quoting reference number above.
1.This normal procedure?
2.Can i still withdraw from paypal under different name?
3.If they ask me who this person sending you money?
Any advice guys???
Thanks |

Hi ,
We're getting in touch because sometimes we need to ask for more information about how a customer is using their account, in order to satisfy regulatory requirements placed upon us by law.
This usually applies to new accounts or accounts where some of the transactions seem a little unusual for a personal account. These guidelines mean we need to understand, and in some scenarios obtain evidence of where our customers are receiving money from (known as source of funds).
We can see that you have received a large number of payments into your account from PayPal, which is not consistent with a personal account. Could you please help us to understand the reason for the payments?
If the PayPal account used to send the money is in your name, please provide us with two screenshots: one of the screen showing that the PayPal account is in your name and at your address, and one of the screen showing your PayPal transaction history, so that we can match up the payments into your U account. In addition, we need to know where these funds are coming from – for example, if you are running a store on eBay, we would need to see screenshots of these same two screens from within your eBay account.
The more detail you provide about these transactions, the easier it will be for us to complete our review. Any evidence you can supply will also help us speed things up.
I have enabled the ability for you to attach documents to this message, so if there is anything in addition to the above that you can think of which might help us to understand where you are receiving this money from, please include this when you reply. The Other section of our FAQs give some examples of things you can use to evidence source of funds ( www.uaccount.uk/frequently-asked-questions).
I look forward to hearing from you and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have.
Thank you in advance. |

It seems like Uaccount are basically a paypal 2.0, slightly better but they are still a single point of failure if you have 5+ accounts with them and want to run all your Ebay money through them. |
