What you'll find is most of these... i'll call them e-banks... they need a backbone - a high street bank.

In U-Accounts case, its Barclays. So its important you treat these "e-banks" like actual banks.

Quote:

U is authorised and regulated by the FCA as a credit broker. The money paid in to your U Account is held in a Barclays account operated by Wirecard Card Solutions. Wirecard Card Solutions is authorised and regulated by the FCA under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011. The account is protected, which means it's used only to serve U Accounts and isn't subject to claims from creditors in the unlikely event U or Wirecard Card Solutions become insolvent. Your money is at risk only in the unlikely event that Barclays become insolvent.

Hi, guys.

Can somebody answer some my questions?

How did you activate your card? What info was requested? Last 4 digits of the card or some more?

What does the card look like? Does it have any www, phones, addresses?

Thank you.

Yes. If you know what you are doing there should be no problems.

Does anyone know where I can find information about their limits. On their website it is very vague.

Click profile, then at the top left hand corner click limits

Had an account with these guys for like 3 months now but never really used it, thought i would try it out, withdrew £3,500 only to find out that my limit transaction limit is £3,250, they really could make it alot clearer, i have emailed them to see if they can split the payment up or whatever but annoying none the less.

As far as I know you can do

I have not see anything that suggest otherwise so far

Re: Uaccount

Just a warning but be careful with these guys, like i said in my previous post i had withdrawed 3,500 when my limit was 3,250 which they fail to mention when you sign up and i only noticed there was even a limit due to this thread

They dont have a phone number to call, only online chat which i waited for 45 minutes in a que to eventually talk to somone, told that the payment bounced which is fine then told my account has been restricted and i can no longer use the online chat and from now on can only use their secure messaging service on the website:s

been waiting 3 hours for someone to reply and nothing, just a heads up, the customer service is almost non-existant:smash:

Actually there is a limits button on your profile which you can see what the limits are for each function on your account.

when you receive large sums i am sure you would be restricted with them asking you to prove where and how you got the funds.

They do tend to take 2-3 days to respond to the secure messages.

Thanks Timmy, once I activated the card all the limits popped up. So far I'm impressed and will surely be cutting up my cashplus

This was just an issue for a few hours whilst they carried out maintenance. The site was fully operable by 11.30pm last night.

Re: Uaccount

I have been following this thread for a couple of days now, I have opened one account to trial, I havnt seen anywhere yet, and sorry if i missed this, but would it be ok to register the account to a stealth paypal (i know that has been covered) but then use the card you get in the post instead of a VCC or would this not work as it will have my name on it?

thanks in advance.

Bunneh 04-29-2017 06:32 AM

Re: Uaccount

You can add the bank accounts, but not the card.

Re: Uaccount

thanks for the reply Bunneh, is this due to the name?

Please close the thread and delete everything related to uaccount- I don't want the service to change due to weird amount of people signing up.
Lets keep this **** under wraps and be sensible here...

Hmm you think related to uaccount rather than Paypal practices?

I had an account where 21 day hold was over, tried to withdraw and then limited

i wouldnt know, first one i tried. I first uploaded pass and bill. Baffled to say the least.

Factory resetted phone. Kept the same ip on sim card for weeks but keeping phone on charge.

Im on the phone with them now to resolve this.

Re: Uaccount

They deemed my passport was forged therefore banned my account. Mistake on my part. I initially called to get them to remove receiving limit after i converted account from personal to business account. Should have waited tad longer rather than calling them.

30 day review which may lead to 180days. Would i be able to withdraw money, if so how easily?
