I don't think it's any one thing truth be told

The only change I've made is disabling flash cookies and LSOs (as I should have being from day one) and my limitations have stopped.

Others don't seem to have had the same success.

I'm guessing about others, btw, nobody else has confirmed.

Can you explain to me how to disable flash cookies and LSOs on chrome, I couldn't find anything on it.

I disabled "Block third-party cookies and data" on my chrome browser

I tried disabling "block sites from setting any data" but i couldn't use PayPal or eBay after i turned did that.

Sorry but I'm not an IT expert... suspect you'll need to ask google.

I don't think it's a glitch, I think PP know EXACTLY what they are doing.

Re: PayPal accounts limited after first sale

HI all,

this is what i ve tried now so far and my account as it stands has not yet got limited but ill keep you all up to date.

my exact steps so far...........

new gmail
new card and confirmed
new ebay.
insert £2 into my paypal
bought two items.... got feedback on them staright away. so my ebay account is 100% feedback. 2 items bought.
listed 1 high risk item. all gone ok and no limitation.

.....

i have cleared all cookies and history before i log on to any account. (surprising the amount of cookies and log files ebay and paypal put on to your computer).

i have also disabled all plugins.
disabled flash to.

ill keep you all up to date......

we really need to get to the bottom of this. whats hurtful here is our senior members who prob know a solution to this issue are not really helping us, or guiding us in some sort of direction ( disappointing).

please please please if someone knows the solution to this paypal BS let us know. as im sure this new limitation approach by paypal is affecting peoples livelihoods.

rant over.

I understood from what others have said on here, always use a different windows user account for each paypal stealth account you are running. In that way the cookies don't get mixed up between different stealth accounts??

Are you saying flash cookies are still linking paypal accounts even when you use separate windows user accounts for each stealth paypal? Or are you trying to use only one windows user account and keep clearing cookies?? If so you are asking for trouble.

I use VPS's to separate all my accounts, I know there is no correlation between by accounts. Yet all my new stealth accounts have been getting limited, after the first sale. I'm not sure what to do.

Why on earth do you think senior members know the solution but aren't telling you? Even if they did, I doubt emotional blackmail would persuade them to share the solution...!

What's more, even if they did know the solution, they aren't obliged to help you. If you show up out of the blue expecting solutions immediately, prepare for disappointment.

Lol, have you noticed when I tell you why they wont tell you, my posts get removed by an account seller? THINK ABOUT IT. Who is the beneficiary to them not telling you? It aint rocket science.

I personally have no clue, could be because that first expensive/high risk item triggers the limitation

Just let them mature....like a fine grass fed organic steak. Minimum of thirty days.

I have the same issue with all my US paypal accounts.I decided to call Paypal when one of the accounts got limited. The agent told me that the reason for the limitations is that I am ebay seller.I assume this is some kind of a new policy they start implementing recently. As long as you sell on ebay you get limited pretty fast might not be on the first sale but deffinately the limitation will hit you soon enough. There is just no solution to this problem.Paypal must get a grib and fix this because they are hurting peoples businesses.

Of course there is a solution, us long termers dont have any issued. Ive already explained it previously.

Let accounts mature first is the key. More steps after that, but creating accounts and listing off the bat is a sure fire way to failure.

Happens to aged accounts to, important to build a little while they mature, receive some payment of some kind before a bigger one, some buying history, browsing history etc. Though I have a lot of accounts and sometimes I can't be bothered, then...ouch.
