Let me understand this,,,,You have an Ebay account and a Paypal account created by the same person,,,,Now after 3 years your sales exploded, and your account is put under review and you are forced to Upgrade to a Business Account, Correct?
Now, at some point in this upgrade process they ask you for the "Director" of the company, Correct?,,,
And your fear is giving them your "fellas" info may jeopardize YOUR Paypal account because your "fella" had his own SEPERATE(from yours) Ebay account Toasted a few years back,,,did I understand your situation correctly? |

Basically, both me and my fella are directors of the company. Both of our eBay's were toasted a few years back. I went stealth.
The business has grown well, but now they are asking for the directors info - which obviously is me and my fella. I can get away with putting one director on it seems.
Our address is now different to what it was when it was toasted. Business address officially registered is different to when it was toasted.
The account is registered under my personal stealth name, but they required me to upgrade to business account so I had to give all the business info. Now they need directors info - which is what I'm afraid of. [emoji31]

If you are worried about the info on file with company house, then just google it, the basics are free - public info, inc. addresses and names.
If both you and this guys info has been banned in the past, then your real info has been compromised.
Hard to know what they will look at to check, real info could your best bet if you are banking on them checking the Company. It is a gamble as they might not check and stealth info could be a better bet. |

Yeah. There's three main sections to the business. I'll spread those across three separate accounts. Not sure what to do about customer collections though :/

How your passport get pass? You said account is on stleath details??
First of all PayPal can't change your account from sole trader to Ltd company you must done it and no way you get this account back since for ltd company they do many checks
If the details on your account and details on your passport does not match then account gone which I believe it is since you said you using stealth
They normally review within 24 hours and you will get email either account restored or permently ban |

Account was on stealth details - they checked companies house, saw the directors and tied it together. Said I needed to provide passport.
All of my invoices are in my company name - had to provide them :/

That's impossible how can they findout from company house ? As you said details are stealth? You must done something either used company number on eBay or PayPal or limited word must be some sort of thing you done to link and this is manual links |

Companies house has mine and my fellas real names on. For the company.
Had the company number on eBay since day 1 with no problems.
The amount of revenue I was generating flagged me. They requested all invoices all suppliers details the works. They asked for everything, I had to prove invoices from a supplier - which has my business name on. They asked for business info. I had to give it to them. They then changed my account to a business account.
Then all details were supplied - they checked companies house, and bam.

Here you go so you provided them company number
When you entered director details on PayPal does this verify automatically or they asked to upload id? If you on electoral list then it should pass automatically rather then id
Ring them up on Monday if they want to restore it they will do while you on the phone if not then it's impossible
For Ltd company they will director credit report and send to one department who run risk assessment |

Had to provide everything via uploading it.
The stealth name on the account was really similar to my own name, they looked on companies house and said that it was me but my name was wrong and that i needed to send a change of name letter and my ID.
Problem is, before hand - my stealth name had already provided I'd - which had a different DOB and photo on it. So they are gonna limit me.

It says in email you need to wait 30 days, if no case open they will release after 30 days normally they release after 180 days |
