Not sure how the UK is, but in the US I've never had Paypal side with a buyer when they send back sh*t like that.

Make sure you take pictures and document all of that stuff. Is the engine in fact bad, or have you diagnosed it yet?

Just a FYI, car parts on ebayUk can be a hit bed if aholes, low lives, redheads an scammers.

Percentage of reasonable buyers is outweighed by scamming twats.
