advice on how fast to start selling

my main selling field is high spec gaming laptops , electronics.
normally 200-1000 pounds.
i would say 4000-7000 pounds of sales in 60 days.

i want to start listing on my new account ebay paypal that has had only about 15 sales all under 10 pounds and not even 4 months old.

i know if i jump straight in they will limit my account and ask for proof of purchase etc. and shut me down for "for high risk"


any advice on what pace shall i start selling? and auctions or buy it now

e.g like £400 a week,,

last week my paypal account i had got limited just because the first sale was £200 even though i gave everything they wanted they closed me down due to high risk.


at the moment i am getting by selling here and there and using my mates accounts.
but i need to be independent.

There is no hard and fast rule with regards to when and what magical number they'll decide to limit you. Your best bet is to either have your verification documents on hand for when they ask for them, or try to stretch out your slow & steady sales to build account history. Switching to a business account can help with the higher amounts I believe, but at some point they may still ask to verify your personal information (the person listed on the account).
