Found old account

Hi again!

Just found a PayPal and eBay account (Stea*%h version) that I registered in 2016. Never been used. Question!

Do I still need to be super cautious listing items and build the account or am I out of the woods?

Still need to be cautious on listing items - need to go slow - since the account has not been active....it's the same as starting a fresh new account.

Thought so but wanted to check!

I thought I heard something a while back that older accounts are stronger than accounts set up within the last year? Any truth in that?

If the account has no transaction history then it is no better than an account that is 1 month old.

Without sales then its a new account as far as eBay is concerned so you need to treat it as such

Ebayorbust and James answered your question - your old account is not stronger. Don't get your hopes up :( sadly
