If something were to happen to the account, would you look back and say "wow, i really let $xx.xx" affect my account. Value is really depended on what you sell and how much you bring in, but if you feel it is something that will effect your account than you should ask yourself that question. Sounds like you have not done anything wrong, and the second claim will either be denied, or will have to be returned for a refund. Sounds like you are over reacting to be honest.

He's not overreacting, he is worried and I can't blame him.

I'd wait before you refund and fight this claim. Give PP all the info you can , but I'm a little skeptical because of with PP not as described claims are rather hard to win.

I figure as long as you get the item back intact you won't lose much.

Paypal claims are not unusual, so I dont think there is anything to worry about. Unless you are selling unauthentic or high risk items or has an unusual amount of them. Just follow the steps with the paypal claim and provide proof. When a buyer opens a claim that the item is not as described, than there is very little you can do. Accept the return (hoping they actual return the item), and move on.
