If i move house can i get a new ebay in my name?

My ebay account in my current address was suspended, im moving on saturday, would it be safe to create a new ebay and paypal with my same details? Date of birth, name etc... i would use a new bank account,ip and if i had to upload documents to paypal would use a passport instead of driving license, would this be ok?

When I moved, I did just that.

But II had never submitted Docs to eBay or PayPal before.

Could you maybe use a middle name as your first or something?

I would be wary about using same name AND DOB.... I have lost a couple of accounts attemtping to do that (at least I think that was the reason) so I could use my real passport if docs are requested.

I've seen it mentioned on the forums that you can black out certain information when sending docs to paypal.... I don't know if this would apply to DOB. It obviously wouldn't work for name or address (if uploading driving license to confirm address) since that is the whole point.

Rob, it is not a good idea to use the same name & DOB. You already have an advantage by moving house.
What you can do is what many of us have done is make a variation of name & DOB.
Say you are Robert Jon Smith born 15/11/90 then you can become Robbie Smyth born 11/5/89, a new you. Get the picture...

They don't care most of them.

Welcome to the forum. 99% of the time there is not a problem. paypal works on sorting code & account number for most transactions.

Just be aware some banks in UK require name matches too. Read more posts you will have more idea.
