Open cases on ebay

Some cheaky buggers ebay buyers receive item via ebay message even then open up the case that item is not received or as described, I replied them and send them screenshots even then they dont close the case and case stays there.

I had bad experience with ebay last time, anytime you contact ebay to close these cases then they clsoe in favours of buyers, so I have decided not to contact ebay, then I wonder how long those cases will stay there. while the cases are open does it make any mark on ur account or grading etc etc. Is there any best way to deal with these.

I m selling digital items and deliver via ebay message/email. I can deliver the same via post as well.

But delivering via message or post is not going to change the cases open, people can still open the cases item as not described but not many as not received.

Living with it is just a loss, any other solution please?

With digital items, you should have more than sufficient profit markups to take the loss.

If you're getting too many cases, perhaps describe what you're selling in more detail so there's no surprise on the buyers end.
