Activity: 0% Longevity: 41% | | Ebay is the worst
Well i had a good 6 months with eBay before they blocked my account
Me and my business partner setup a business on eBay everything was going great until last week when they told us to provide company details invoices etc
Just a quick recap on our account within the space of 6 months we became top rated sellers and automatically our account reached a limit of over 80k in sales and over 8000 items this was purely because of the sales and the feedback, no cases etc with over 1100 items sold and a return rate of less then 0.85% i thought we was the perfect ebay customer.
Anyways we made a limited company for this eBay business, vat registered business email the lot,
At the time of the suspension we provided ebay with everything invoices etc the lot, the only issue they had at the time was these where COD cash invoices so they wanted proof of payment which we could not provide as these where literally Cash on delivery invoices, they kept on insisting they need proof of payment so we had i think it was one invoice which we paid via bank transfer so we send that over, next 24hrs we received a indefinite restriction as we are to much of a risk to eBay WHAAT ?
The funny thing is PayPal asked for all the same info and they accepted everything i just cant believe it.
Has anyone every come over a indefinite restriction i honestly think some twat at eBay just blocked our account
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I remember your posts from 6 months ago.
So you eventually set up a account with new business details.
Seems like business was going too well which is what triggered the checks.
But you are absolutely right. It's the agent that looked at your documents. A jobsworth no doubt nitpicking on that one point of CoD invoices.
In a situation like that, knowing what I know now thanks to this forum I would have just photoshopped some documents and gave them that. Your honesty got your account indefinitely suspended.

The main thing is your Paypal is solid. It's passed checks.
Just re-open a new ebay account using a new IP, Address, Phone No., Browser, VCC to pay fees and you should be good to go accepting payments in to that paypal. Take it slow.
Open 3-4 ebay accounts not just one. Spread that 80k in sales across multiple accounts.

I also have new stealths going as well.
You just have to keep spreading the risk over multiple accounts. Relying on one account is asking for trouble and is simply not a feasible business plan if you intend on making a living off ebay. They have the power to close your business at any time leaving you with thousands of pounds worth of stock sitting in your garage or warehouse.

he said he submitted one which is not COD but bank transfer.
Someone could have reported you.
It is not uncommon for someone who works for Ebay to buy an item from seller just to see if it is authentic.
They dont leave feedback or return the item

They have the power to say your business is to risky, find another platform. So the only way to make them agree is to modify documents to what they deem is "acceptable" for their platform.
The worse they can do is kick you off their platform. They're not going to file criminal charges against you for trying to make them money in seller fees and for trying to earn a living and stay off the dole lol.
I should add if you are a VERO / phake item seller. Then what you got is well deserved. I personally sell legitimate goods and so do many other stealthers. So it all comes down to what you are selling.

May be UK is different, here in USA,if you are buying from legit wholesaler/distributor or manufacturer, you open an account with them, and it is net 30,you get a small discount if you pay within 30 days.
When i BUY FROM overseas vendors, they all want wiretransfer.

This was the last mistake I made before I actually became successful and profitable on eBay
You just need to buy 10 stealth accounts / few laptops / few dongles build those accounts (as told in stealth guide) then spread your sale across all of them accounts
So If your gonna make £2000 in a day
List about £200 (more or less depending on account) on each account each day or however you operate
And let the sale roll in
If one does get banned, who cares you got 9 more just buy another
And that’s all you gotta do honestly

Hi assad.
Sorry to hear that you got suspended. I got your DM but was unable to reply as system doesn't let me (need 20 posts).
In answer to your question, I just sent them invoices for the items I was selling, but these were paid for via usual way, ie debit card/bank transfer. The issue I can see you having is that paying by cash would raise red flags for eBay as it reeks of stolen goods (even if it isn't!). Cash is a dirty word now days, and with HMRC breathing down the necks of online marketplaces, the likes of eBay etc are taking no chances, otherwise they can now find themselves liable for any tax due.

I 'll take cash anytime over credit/debit cards, person check, even money order.
In fact there are merchants who will give you a discount if you pay cash

Maybe they thought you were dropshipping, I have read similar stories here and on other forums. You should make multiple accounts and in the future just photoshop stuffs.

when they ask for invoices and receipts or proof of purchase, simply get creative with docs. show them what they wish to see.
as someone mentioned earlier, worst that can happen you lose the account, the little bit of £££ which you pay to acquire the docs if you cant do it yourself, and you move on.

What was the title of the suspension e-maile you received?
They were likely phishing for personal information and the decision to suspend you could have been made before their request for documents. That might be the reason you got suspended just after providing the docs.
As others have already said, spread your sales.
Good luck

Wow! 8000 items sold? Is there ever a time when ebay does not suspend accounts at all? Or is the only way to make ebay viable is through stealth?
