I think that is the last of our worries at the moment

I don't think it will work at all.

I am going to try using my real information on a stealth account when the account is forced to enrol to see whether ebay are OK with letting me stay on the platform.

If not i'm screwed and the account is toast ... but it's better to try that than to abandon it altogether.

ill be doing the same thing

Got this mail on all business accounts but nothing on personals. It seems personal accounts will be affected at the end

True,

and last time I checked yes they put straight into your bank account. Curious to what some people have to say to that

Amazon Stealth barely exists anymore, so I wouldn't recommend using that as a template as we may as well all shut up shop now!

Just read that certain categories can’t be listed in if the seller is enrolled in managed payments. Something else to look forward to.

Yeah I think it needs to be done ASAP really.

You know full well the mods and accounts sellers are already on it, and they wont share the info on the forum, it will be a new section in the marketplace 'Managed Returns Solution' £200.

There is also the option of changing the name on the ebay account to someone real, and then using there BA's. Ive done it for adding new PP to old account etc and its been fine, touch wood.

Haha true, the account sellers go awfully quiet with these kind of threads

I disagree - you need to think differently. You need to be prepared to hand some of your profit over - then anything is possible

So its not Stealth then.

Of course, utilising others to trade is always an option, it's not thinking different persay, its going outside of a Stealth/Ghost role.

Lol, they have their own forum chatting away finding the way to deal with it but they will NEVER share the info with the forum on a whole.

Wait for a new section in the forum AUP to be added, 'do not talk about managed returns' lol, keeps the business flowing.

The way to find info is to utilise a dead account (or genuine account) with the trial early adoptor thing. But it has to be a recent dead account I've found, not a previous business account that hasn't had any selling on for a while. I don't know how old before its last sale it needs to be.

Or make a sacrificial account sell stuff quickly then use that one

Yes, an option, but currently its only to hose 'invited' to be an early adaptor, so yeah, good idea to get one ready to trial it as soon as its sign up is ready to go.

Maybe worth making a few..

Seems like alot of ebay sellers are very un-happy about the new MP set up. Hopefully the VP of eBay is reading that thread,

I think the decision is above him so there won't be a reversal. They have invested way to much into the system at this point to change it for a few grumpy ornament sellers..

I got absolutely no issues with managed payments, I just want them to let me back on with my real details and forgive my past mistakes.

I mean I been trading without a hiccup ever since in stealth mode so surely I have proven myself.

same here, was banned 10 years ago, ever since having stealth account I have 100% feedback, Top rated, and 5 stars across the board. Keep us updated, thanks.

It's hilarious I want to login on my banned account go to ebay live chat customer services and then show them 3 accounts that I am top rated seller on making them thousands in fees.

But obviously we all know what will happen ...

As a last resort been thinking of using my sisters bank account, she lives in different town, different first name of course with same last name at this moment. I would pay her 3% of every sale, so she would become my Paypal. Guess its time to start think about kissing A$$

Re: eBay to stop using PayPal

Can you tell the bank you dont want to proceed with the bank name thing as you can opt out, as that's the only way they can link it correct?

Thats a possibility to carry on trading with a real verified info account.

This new MP system is going hurt a lot of pockets.

I've only just got started with stealth (1 account at the moment) was hoping to open a few more this month but now i am thinking what is the point?!

Just when i thought things were looking up for me in business but then this email comes along.:help:

You should still continue for now, and figure out things as you go. Don't throw away your opportunity because of a change 10 months down the line.

Make what you can for now, and adapt.

Re: eBay to stop using PayPal

What if we change stealth account details to a business name and open a business bank accounts
Would this theory give us options to keep on running stealth account?

But then with this method one has to form a lot of companies and new business bank accounts too.

Good comment and thank you for the encouragement. You're are right i will still continue creating accounts and will hopefully figure out rest in time.

How are you coping with the changes in the US, comrade?

Honestly I can't wait for them to roll out MP in the USA. It will thin the herd and hopefully get rid of some overseas sellers severely undercutting US sellers.

You mean those Chinese sellers that look like they are within your country but really ship out from china? We have that problem also here on the eBay UK site

This!!! This was my view last year. If adyan only want a bank statement that shows proof that the eBay business name matches the business name on the bank account you should be in business???

Hi mate, so if that works and i hope it does, would you end up registering a handful of LTD's (depending on how many successful stealth accounts you've got)?

By having the registered LTD should give you a business bank account.
