I don't think it will work at all.

I am going to try using my real information on a stealth account when the account is forced to enrol to see whether ebay are OK with letting me stay on the platform.

If not i'm screwed and the account is toast ... but it's better to try that than to abandon it altogether.

ill be doing the same thing

Got this mail on all business accounts but nothing on personals. It seems personal accounts will be affected at the end

True,

and last time I checked yes they put straight into your bank account. Curious to what some people have to say to that

Amazon Stealth barely exists anymore, so I wouldn't recommend using that as a template as we may as well all shut up shop now!

Just read that certain categories can’t be listed in if the seller is enrolled in managed payments. Something else to look forward to.

Yeah I think it needs to be done ASAP really.

You know full well the mods and accounts sellers are already on it, and they wont share the info on the forum, it will be a new section in the marketplace 'Managed Returns Solution' £200.

There is also the option of changing the name on the ebay account to someone real, and then using there BA's. Ive done it for adding new PP to old account etc and its been fine, touch wood.

Haha true, the account sellers go awfully quiet with these kind of threads

I disagree - you need to think differently. You need to be prepared to hand some of your profit over - then anything is possible

So its not Stealth then.

Of course, utilising others to trade is always an option, it's not thinking different persay, its going outside of a Stealth/Ghost role.

Lol, they have their own forum chatting away finding the way to deal with it but they will NEVER share the info with the forum on a whole.

Wait for a new section in the forum AUP to be added, 'do not talk about managed returns' lol, keeps the business flowing.

The way to find info is to utilise a dead account (or genuine account) with the trial early adoptor thing. But it has to be a recent dead account I've found, not a previous business account that hasn't had any selling on for a while. I don't know how old before its last sale it needs to be.

Or make a sacrificial account sell stuff quickly then use that one

Yes, an option, but currently its only to hose 'invited' to be an early adaptor, so yeah, good idea to get one ready to trial it as soon as its sign up is ready to go.

Maybe worth making a few..

Seems like alot of ebay sellers are very un-happy about the new MP set up. Hopefully the VP of eBay is reading that thread,

I think the decision is above him so there won't be a reversal. They have invested way to much into the system at this point to change it for a few grumpy ornament sellers..

I got absolutely no issues with managed payments, I just want them to let me back on with my real details and forgive my past mistakes.

I mean I been trading without a hiccup ever since in stealth mode so surely I have proven myself.
