Default UK accounts stuck on 2500 limitation

Anyone see this problem over the last few days? This is for a legit account (not stealth), I've reached the 2500 limit, entered the data, it says "thank you, your account is all back to normal", but it is still limited and has been for 3 days.

Have you supplied docs?

Mine went through without problem about a week ago. Passed in 24 hours.

I guess it should be pretty easy for you to determine if it is still limited or not.
Yeah the system is buggy as hell, a lot of times it goes through and everything is OK but it still shows the error notification for a couple days.

In this case it's the opposite: it tells me everything is OK but when I try to transfer money it says you need to verify your details.

HI

I know what you are talking about .
Some goe through smooth , on some they ask for additional papers for verification.

You never know for sure maybe sometimes they just put a flag on you ...

Is it just the little red message at the top? If so you can ignore it if your account is functioning correctly.

No that's the point.. I know what you're talking about, sometimes the little red flag is there and the account is fine.

In this case, I gave the info and it went through automatically via database checks with no doc requests, it told me the account is OK, but when I try to withdraw or transfer money it tells me I need to resolve the limitation.

I had this today on my own real account too, got the email bout the "We need more information about you", i entered my home address expecting to go onto the bit where you upload id and proof of address but after i entered my address details it said my account is now fine and the red flag was not there after i signed in and out.

Yes. This is what I'm saying too. I clicked on the red thing in the corner, I entered the address, it says:

Thank you for providing all the required information.
You're all set, and your account is back to normal.

Then when I try to send money or make a payment, it says:

There's an issue with your PayPal account. Please contact PayPal so we can help you straight away.

And it has been like this for 4 days. No request for docs, it's just still "limited" for some reason.

While I appreciate the advertisement, this situation doesn't involve documents at all so it's not really on-topic....

No advert, just replying to a comment on my post in your thread.

You did not say in your original post if you had supplied any docs to lift limits, hence my original reply.

My guess is that you have found a glitch somehow. Every time I get to the 1650 I have had a request form pp to confirm details then the doc request. I keep selling and wait until I hit the hard limitation before supplying the docs as I find they resolve the matter in 24 to 48 hours.

Just my way of doing it.

Able to withdraw until the hard limitation is hit at around the 2500 Euro mark. When that is reached then you can't do anything, only receive more into the account.

I never needed documents at all though; my name + address is in the electoral database and it works from that.

There is no form to upload documents. The system just seems stuck.

I don't want to talk to any paypal reps because if they see all the unholy things I've been doing and they'll terminate my account.

Never got an email like that after over 100 paypal accounts! But I always tick no to the spam option when I sign up.

PayPal support seem to generally be retarded, they are stuck in a loop of copy & pasting the same thing over and over, they tell me to click on the dropdown, and upload my documents. I tell them that there is no place to upload documents, and when I click the dropdown it tells me everything is OK. Then they copy & paste the same message.

Anyone have any ideas, please let me know....
