Default EE 3g usb modem - top up link?

Using 3g t mobile usb model that normally when I go over the data allowance net does not connect to any sites and you get a notification in top right of the browser which you click, it takes you to ee data usage page where you have option to buy £5 data bundle or £7.50 data bundle and at the bottom there is a 250mb free data bundle which normally click on until the the monthly data usage is refreshed every month

The usb modem is not working because of no data and no notification is being given in the browser when you can't connect to net - normally a notification as explained above would display and no need to register with ee to get the free 250mb data bundle or buy a bundle but this time its not happening?

I used the 250mb free bundle 2 times and all data used up

I don't want to go register with ee just to get the 250mb free data bundle, its on pay monthly

Anyone able to help?

£10 month its 4gb net usage on 3G usb
3g usb used because it gives new ip each time you connect to net
Only used for ebay/paypal

Is there a better option?

Will that give a new ip every time you connect?
It’s a little over my budget I’ve been used to paying £10 for years on the single and only used for ebay/paypal.

Does this connect to the USB port of the laptop?

Check out some of these, you get a nice little mifi unit (I've got one and they're way better than dongles) and probably get it cheaper through cashback or affiliation sites.

I can't find it now but I saw someone offering unlimited data for business users through a referral site at £16.00pm

How much data do you get for £15?

Is your dongle unlocked?

Still can't get my head round you still wanting to mess with 3G when Three will give you endless acceptable 4G IP's. Flight mode on, flight mode off = new IP.

Regardless of what sim deal you go for, I still think you should look at a mifi unit they're only £40 new, cheaper used on ebay. A new 4G dongle is only £15.
It’s £10 a month I think for 2gb or 10gb need to check next statement that comes.

It’s slow but ok for eBay got other sites it’s impossible

My limit is £10 to £12 a month because I don’t sell too often on eBay

If you had a good chunk of data, or even unlimited data, you'd be more enthusiastic about listing more and putting more effort in. It will easily pay for itself, we're only talking of a few quid per month more to get a good quality plan and 4G mifi unit.

I guess if you're going to continue with the dongle you have (it's a decade old now) then it's counter productive anyway.

As I asked above, is your dongle locked to EE, if so there's not much point shopping around.
The three sim on a month payg is £13 for 2gb http://store.three.co.uk/mobile/view...ntractLength=1

And on 12 month contract cheapest three sim is £13 with 4gb on a 12 month

Dongle think it’s locked to ee
I pay £10 a month but now since the lockdown when I’ve started to sell back on ebay finding the 2-4gb is not enough
What’s the cheapest deal you recommend that is either pay monthly or just top up as when needed? Can you use the mifi 4g to with no contract and just too up as when needed, if so would you get a top up voucher to do that?

Take a look at the two at the top. You have to pay £39 for the mifi unit but it's 4G, it's fast, it's wireless, it's unlocked and it's yours to keep.

If you ever need to take a break they have a sim at £60 which offers 24gb of data valid for 2 years.

There's also the angle of using a mobile phone as a hotspot......

Anyway, here you go.

These seem more in my price range because I'm currenttly paying £10 on the 3gusb modem and the prices you gave is not a massive jump, just means I need to increase sales to cover the costs of the new modem, the 12 month contract I assume will be via direct debit.

How about the 1 month contract is that via direct debit or just top up with a voucher?

The modem works with only 1 device or more than 1 device connected to it?
