They won't let you reply or receive messages from customers until you do, and eventually you will need to (by July 20) if you get this notification.

I haven't seen anything about this on any of my accounts. They've only threatened me with the inability to create new listings if I haven't registered by July 15th.

Never seen a UK spec account have a 20th July date as a specific, only 'late July'..

Can you post a screenshot of what you recieved?

Just accept that everyone is going to be signed up to this - unless you have a very good reason for not doing it or you believe you will not get through it you may as well bite the bullet and get on with it - it aint going to go away

Everyone - eventually. Not any time soon. Only the bigger/heavier sellers are being forced into it at the moment.

Etsy is MP already

The consensus of the Etsy section of this board is that MP is mandatory is most "developed" countries but Paypal is still an option for many countries. So the workaround is/has been registering accounts in countries that still use Paypal.

If any etsy guys are floating around, feel free to chime in.

lets all hope ebays implementation is the same as etsys and then its all already been solved for managed payments and wont be an issue.
