linking a payoneer bank account to ebay

Hi all, I have an eBay UK account which I've not used for some time.
I need to add a UK bank account for managed payments.

I no longer hold a physical UK bank account (as I live abroad).
I do have an overseas Payoneer account, which supplies a Barclay's UK bank account number and sort code.

Is it safe to add this to eBay?
also, will they ask for any verification? i.e. proof of UK address, documents, etc?

you can only use bank accounts from major uk banks. payoneer is payoneer , it is not barclays

Payoneer supply an actual Barclay's account number for receiving payments (different than the payoneer account number)
