I notice there are not many people looking at my listings? I wonder what could be the reasons, resultantly I have very slow sale

Should I do that in order to increase the sale, its just eBay charge a lot when item sells.

Promoted listings increase visibility of the product by 25%, also are you using the right keywords in the listings, if used item is the condition shown, it the product description complete and have keywords. Sometimes lack of keywords and poor imagery will not rank the listing in the searches.

what do you sell?
More of the disposable income goes to grocery ,rent,gas,auto insurance,repairs,not much is left .

I second that about the Promoted Listings.
Yes, eBay take their cut. But you generally see a significant increase in sales.
If you have high quantity items, it is worth it.
If you have items that you want to get a certain price for, then maybe worth waiting with the Promo.

I personally believe it is this 'new' economy crap, if you can call it that. Not a lot of extra money floating around after the cheating power company, water company, etc all take their cut. I too have been experiencing this rollercoaster of sales for a few years now, ever since the gaypal changed to make it so ou can't spend from your paypal balance unless you 'verify'. The covid bs just added insult to injury and now all the 'good' news on tv makes it even worse, people spend even less. Ever since it has been one day no sales, the next day maybe one, the next day, none, etc... Promoted listings does help I believe, even though it is a racket, it's part of being on ebay

It’s a shame that eBay now has to pander to social media algorithms when you could get promoted right off the bat in the old eBay. Don’t even waste your time with auctions But just hang in there and your buy it now listings will get a spike of traffic every now and again like old times .

lower your prices use promoted listing you may have to break even or lose a bit to get your item up the list once its up there you can slowly raise the price and cut back on the promotions a bit

If you are selling things people would like to have but do not need,you will have to wait,since Ebay listing is free,you just have to be patient.
On my non EBAY site,most lookers are resellers hoping to resell my items at a profit.
It is the Economy!!

I am constantly editing my listings (price down a few pennies etc, or price up, run 5-10% promotions, send offers to watchers) this seems to help a lot. Do this everyday, twice a day if you can. Keep your shop active.

Constant changing of prices and description content is one of the ways to get a higher listing place in the category without promoting the item.

I'm getting too many non-paying bidders. I sell a armitron watch - non-paying buyer, I sell a hotwheels tesla - buyer wins non-payment, I sell a marvel spider-girl comic book BAM! - non paying buyer. it's annoying. so those three people I have to file a non paying buyer claim. it sucks but they will soon be put on my block list even for any future accounts I create

Kids nowadays are more irresponsible nor do they think

Maybe use ai to optimize titles and keyboards with high ranking keyboards is worth a try...try buy nows with make an offer...

it's criminals in my neighborhood so my grandma doesn't want me outside like that. only to work and grocery store etc. but as always thank you and love you
