Re: Multiple "Periodic Performance Reviews"
My last account had got two reviews in the same month. Started around the 30 day mark. Only lasted for about 2 months in time, and ended with a suspension. I'm not sure if it's because the system knows there is a underlying problem, or what. For me personally I pushed $1,500+ then $2000 the following month.
On my newest account I have already sold $1000+ without problems. I would have liked to sell less to manage risk but every time I remove vacation I get sales fairly quickly. This time though I have only listed what I know will sell as opposed to make a listing and maybe 1 out of 20 of those makes a sale. It's a number a game so I usually have listed as many product as possible, but then try to manage sales amount. I think when the system checks the account its the listings quantity that poses a risk, and maybe is why reviews are triggered quicker.
Every situation is different but I think listing a lot of items even if they aren't selling immediately is not good. Because if you have a few that do sell quickly the system will look at your account and think those others could maybe do the same? Therefore the risk really is there in theory, which warrants a review, which prompts the periodic review. Probably common sense, and thinking back I always practiced this, but lately I haven't and have only faced problems. Less is more, and more is ok if less listings are on eBay. Slow and steady.
