Activity: 0% Longevity: 28% | | 5-Day Review Triggered on Full Withdrawals After eBay Update – Minimum Safe Withdraw
With the new update after the 16th, I attempted to manually withdraw funds from my eBay UK account to my bank. Immediately after clicking the “Withdraw” button, my account was placed under a 5-day periodic review. This has now happened with 3 of my stealth accounts. However, when I tried manually withdrawing only half of the available balance on another stealth account, I was able to proceed without triggering the 5-day review. But during the second payout request, when I attempted to withdraw the remaining balance, that account also triggered a 5-day review and, within 5 minutes, received an MC011 notice requesting tracking for all orders.
It seems that withdrawing the full balance may activate the review process. Does anyone know the minimum balance that can be withdrawn manually without triggering this 5-day review?

How many days between first (50%) withdrawal and the second withdrawal?
It can depends on your seller account, what you sell ,size of the amount and past performance.

The bank is wise personal. I received around 20 payouts before the update.
eBay accounts are created on 2024 mar. Selling active on same day. received the first sale on 2024 mar (6 months ago)
My payout amount was around 340£. Selling items range 50-60£

Today, I withdrew 50% of the available balance from another account, and it was successful. I continued withdrawing 50% until the balance reached £7, with no issues triggered.Seems like ebay doesn't allow to withdraw the whole balance at once

It can depends on your seller account, what you sell ,size of the amount and past performance. | The second withdrawal was about 15 minutes after the first, which withdrew the full remaining amount, leaving the balance at zero. On another account Today, I withdrew 50% of the available balance, then another 50% of the remaining balance, and continued with 50% withdrawals until the balance reached £7. I didn’t encounter any issues. It seems eBay discourages private sellers from withdrawing all funds at once with the new update, possibly encouraging them to keep at least £5 or £10 as an available balance for selling costs, depending on their sales volume.
It seems like it would be better to make these accounts LTD based business accounts despite thinking about the fees.

I'd bet the trigger is more to do with the item you sell and the fact it has no tracking info.
Happened to one of my stealth accounts when I was sending out items standard 2nd class without tracking back in the day. The same account also sold items of value that I was sending special delivery and it's that mix of both that always triggered reviews. Passed every time, but very tedious and annoying.

it is likely bots hitting the accounts for these reasons:
- recently made account
- wise is used
I think if high street bank were used the problem would not occur

Does anyone know the minimum balance that can be withdrawn manually without triggering this 5-day review? | Interesting, Made first withdrawal on stealth acc last week under £100 which was ok, then today attempted to withdrawal just under £50 and withdraw button's greyed out (can't withdraw).
It seems eBay's now doing exact same thing as PayPal. I believe they're making high interests off money sitting in there since they no longer are making money from selling / listing fees etc.

Just had this, started using an account i haven't used since September .. which was used to handling 2-3k per month 5+ years old, so since they "updated" their payout scheme, £1200 in the account holdings now. £200 was available, tried to withdraw got the 5 day review. Is ebay trying to sabatoge its own business with small sellers?
For comparison the 2 business accounts took a break too and are selling more products with no issues.

each manual withdrawal is checked by bots , especially on large amounts or performance problems review can be triggered

For e-checks however, that has a little more potential for problem so hold is often generated
