This took 3 days only for first withdraw and now on every next withdraw I believe will not take more then 24 hours.

As same thing happend to my business account still panding from last 2 days. I noticed a new message in paypal I think they implemented some thing new in there system recently which is why ever first withdraw will take more then 3 days

here is the the message

"Withdrawals may be subject to review to help maintain your safe use of the PayPal service. As a result, it may take longer for your withdrawal to reach your bank"

thanks

Manas - just put current account, bank put natwest and branch just put chester cause thats what they have as their address and it should be fine.

aslam - you are probably right, lets hope this doesn't cause a problem in the long run

HI, new member. But just to confirm that I have one of these accounts with Card One Banking. I opened the account following the closure of my HSBC account which was the one that I originally verifed my PP account with. The PP account is fully verified and in good standing but obviously I have removed the HSBC account from it.

PP will not let me use (ie Confirm) my Card One Account, since it is unable to accept Direct Debits, and won't therefore send two small deposits. As I means to verify a PP account it appears to be useless, unless at some stage they add a DD facility to it.

Just thought people ought to know so as to not waste their time going down this route.

You will need to verify PP with a normal bank account, then add card one as a 2nd account. That is how you should use card one.

ok thanks, if you do that and then remove the first account after successfully adding card one will it then work fine or will it then want a DD on card one?

Default £30 fee waived and accepted by Paypal

Hi All
As I understand it and I was looking at the details for this account last night on several well known money sites the £30 fee to sign up has now been dropped and the card is accepted by paypal according to money saving expert.com as the account supplies both an account number and also the sort code.

Hope that helps.

Just add the 2nd acount and don't remove the initial account, why would you want to remove the initial account?

Never thought I'd see the day I would pay to have a bank account. It's our right isn't it? To have 10 bank accounts? A human right I tell you, to stay invisible from ebay for as long as possible.

I tried the direct debit deposits with my cardone account, doesn't work. I hope the withdrawals do as posted by others above.

I didn't, paypal did...I tried to buy soemthing on the account forgetting a postage fee and the balance was about £2 short, paypal tried to debit it to the bank account which had been closed the week before. Careless on my part but Payapl removed it and asked for another...

and for the verification as already stated by me and others above Card One doesn't work.

Does anyone know if they plan on adding a DD facility?

We all make little and silly mistakes, if I tell you the silly mistakes I have made in the past you will be speachless, just try and add a secong bank account that support DD. Always keep funds in your PP account.

They say DD will be brought in soon, but by soon I don't know how long as this was said 4months ago.

Default cardone response

Hi guys, just reading about the cardone but has any one tried the halifax easy cash card. It provides an account number, standing order and is also a visa electron as well. I have used a couple of time to verify my paypal but i havent as yet tried to register in a different name.

Could a Canadian get a UK bank account online? Don't really know much about your system.
