How do you mean 'limited'. Do you mean you have been limited by paypal?

No, just the lifting limits, i think we have to email them to sort this one out.

my account says it verified but also it says its limited. I go to the resolution centre and it says confirm bank which ive done so thats ticked off. Then it says validate your account information. So i click that and it wants me to add another credit card. Ive already added 1 VCC and it seemed to add fine. So i dont know if i should add another VCC or just make another account or call them. Any ideas? Thanks alot

Hi there the same is happening to me. However i have got more understanding of what this is: basically its that our accounts are verified but we have a limit on how much we can receive, this is because when paypal had searched our details through their books-- i.e [electorate register, credit check and blah blah..] they have not found any person with that details, since we all now that mine, yours and everybody's details here are PHAKE; so that is why they ask for further information about your self. but this information is not needed now. its only needed when you reach that limit.
NOTE: even if you refresh 1000000 times that wont go away, because its the new rule of paypal, and of course you dont need to worry about that: since you're already verified
you can sell and receive money, but keep in mind that you will have to provide your information when you reach that limit.

I wouldnt really mind if my account had those type of limits, but my account is actually limited. So i cant send or receive money. Let alone withdraw anything. So i think ill try adding another VCC to the account and see what happens.

Funny how it says "Validate your account information by post" after you validate it by phone, it says continue, but i never do, just in case i get a letter sent to a random stealth address. Hit the account button just to make sure :)

I know you shouldnt be using your debit cards as your name etc than actually goes through so would just buying another vcc do the trick to lift the limits?

My account is fully verified, I have added bank account used a vcc already etc just need to lift limits to which I received an email from paypal to add my debit/credit card to remove the £1900 limit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi, i have the exact same problem as the thread starter too. my vcc are in my stealth name so how can i confirm who i am. also there is no option to go further. I have read the book and all has gone well so far, im just stuck on this part like all the others above me.

Has anyone solved this yet?

I have solved the problem - finally!

I emailed pp and told them my issues (same as above). The lady emailed back and said i need to confirm and link my debit card and enter the code. I did this on my vcc, and all limits are now lifted :D

Hey, i hate to dig up an old thread but I am experiencing the same problem. They are asking for photo ID and proof of address. I can provide photo ID but the address that the PP account is in, is my father's work address, which obviously doesn't receive bank statements or utility bills, etc.
Can you help me here? Thanks

you will need say a bank letter in the work address, that can be done - but is it a business acc?

I just rang paypal yesterday and told them the situation. The first guy was really unhelpful and just told me to change my address and then send in the docs. I then rang later on and was put through to a helpful lady who said she would delete that limitation for me so that I just needed to send in photo ID and not a proof of address. Bonus!
