Default New way to take payments from sellers - anyone tried it ?

I see from some seller chat forums that there is a new way to take payments from customers who do not have Paypal/or even a UK bank account.
The service seems useful in that it takes a 'last chance' sale online from folks not able to otherwise purchase. Okay it's not for everyone, but some folks have added this as a way out of using Paypal if they are excluded
It works as payment to your mobile phone, from the buyer, but costs are 20%, so in theory £2 in every £10 received is taken.
It's pretty risk free, but I wondered if anyone has used the service or is thinking of using it as a way to increase sales to potentially lost purchases.
Not ideal as mainstay in place of Paypal for obvious reasons, but like I said, for those people who don't have bank accounts and therefore not Paypal linked, it's a potential sale !
Thoughts ??! good or bad ?

Just offer them nochex, they can pay with Visa and feel all warm and safe.

But then again this is ebay and they are brainwashed into using paypal or nothing

Taking payment via mobile? is it some kind of payment system where you can pay for your items with credit/topup from your mobile phone account?. Plus 20% is a little steep don't you think?

Whoever would be prepared to pay a fee of 20% needs there head looking at, especially when there's other merchants that take a 1/4 of what there offering is scandalous.

Top and bottom of it is that if you are selling on the Ebay platform you need Paypal to make it worth while. Everything else is second best. Just the way it is

that might be the case but it would be very hard to get a 1/4 of the sales with another provider on eby you would with PP
