Hi. Would it be safe to list a £6000 car on a 1 month old stl account? It has about 20 feedback.
I do not want any money going through pp (not even a deposit) so its a cash only pickup offer.
Would you think it would raise a flag as there will be a buy it now button for £6000? I do not want anyone to hit the buy it now button. Any ideas? I have never sold a car on eb so I dont know how it works and its a friends car I am selling.
Thanks

You should be fine, i was a few months ago on a 3week old account with 2fb, car was 4.5k and it sold with bin button but the buyer paid cash on collection
Deffo don't take PP payment, i have seen a few come a cropper like that.

I'm with TizWoz here - I've seen cars sold on brand new accounts. The guy we bought our Range Rover from had only been on a week - definitely no Paypal though - asking for trouble IMO

Do you think it would be ok to put 'Please do not use the buy it now as I am selling for a friend. Please call him on ....' - doesn't sound too good to me as eb wont be too happy but if people have done this and it ok, please let me know.
