I have been stealth on Bay and paypal for just about a year. I verified my account to get over the £1900 limit about a week ago. They asked me to confirm my identity by answering some questions about my (stealth) address).
It seemed too easy. i have never added a credit card just my bank details.

It is a paypal private account.

Hello, is this stealth or real account ? so did you or did you not submit ID ?

I have both business and personal account but the test account i made to see if it would pass was personal.

Interesting thread because i made a personal steath..entered all the info right address date of birth straight away after confirming email and it says this doesn't match??

how long does it take to accept docs and lift limit by paypal ?

Under normal circumstances anything from 1 hour up to 72 hours

Today is the third day and no info ? hmm a bit worried some folks on forum said it took them 9 days to get limit lifted.

I wrote them an email, to like a worried noob who does not what is going on. :) I hope this will helps a bit.

Normally you will get an email but not always.

yes after emailing yesterday. I have received a "human" email. From PayPal. Her name is Sarah and she said that they still reviewing account, and as soon they finish they will notify me with an email :)

Not always a good idea to go chasing p/p.

It can sometimes backfire on you.

Be prepared for that to be a load of tosh....

Sometimes paypal do delaying tactics like this.

Confirmed backlog with these requests at the moment.

Yesterday, i received an email that i have to add additional information for 4th time. So today i added the cc statement and called paypal. Now i'm on priority queue and i'm waiting.

Folks, i'm also reinstated! :grin:

P.P.: Probably they resolved their technical problem, because they responded me in less than 30 minutes.

Sent my docs on 24th and still not had an update from them. I'm in no rush as have others to play with, but thought I'd let others know in case they were feeling picked on by PP :boink:
