1pound charge by paypal

it was my first time to use ebay and paypal.I bought 2 items from two buyers last week.I found that 2 pounds more are missing when i checked my bank statement.Does anyone know what s going on ?thank you

If you have only recently set up your PP and linked your card to it they take a £1 charge to check that the card is active and can be used, they normally take about 4 days to put it back on your card / account
