Default halifax savings problems with paypal

Recently Halifax updated their systems and also the way they operate savings. Now if you try to open a web saver or any kind of online savings account, it would give you a different sort code which will be something like 11-67-22
The problem is, these are not getting recognized by Paypal's automatic, sort code recognition system.
Any idea, what to do ?

Or maybe wait a little while to see, if they update their systems ?

I have a Halifax Bank account and when you login to your online banking
you can open a websaver account from the 'new accounts section' and just transfer £1 to it and its open. I have 4 of these accounts, takes minutes to open. You get a account number and sort code and the option to have a cash card or not.

Halifax does this in case you wish to save for holidays etc..

@Bunneh, crazyfrog is not asking for help. The point is just that PayPal does not currently recognize the sort code of the newest Halifax savings account.

I have not experienced this yet, so I would have just said what cortex said.

How recently was this?

I opened and successfully verified my PayPal with a Hafilax "Reward Saver" about maybe 14 days ago.

As a test - I have just opened another Online Saver - it took about a minute to do, and that was only because my connection is crap!

The sort code I have been given is the same as my branch sort code!

Is yours different from your branch sort code crazyfrog?

Have you moved since you opened your FIRST an account with the bank ?

If you have thats the problem.

Halifax Sort Code, Halifax Sorting code

Find your sort code and enter the bank location associated with it.

I can confirm that Halifax online saver did NOT work for me.

It's now the 6th working day and no deposits. Real shame, considering the ease of opening them :(
