Default Santander E-Saver

Anyone know how the santnader E-Saver is for stealth.

Ive read on the forum that the current accounts are good to go, but also read that some banks savers accounts dont work.

Can anyone help?

Dont really want to waste the account if a complete stealth name wont work

Cheers all

Most savings accounts cannot handle a Direct Debit Mandate, therefore it is recommended you avoid them as Paypal requires you to attach an account which can handle a Direct Debit Mandate.

I couldn't use mine - I got the 2 verifications amounts through from PP - but when I tried to put them in they didn't work. I contacted them (PP) and asked about it - they told me that they would just send the amounts again and it would work. When I got the 2 amounts and went to put them in I got a message saying the account wasn't suitable and couldn't be used again. I gave up on Santander e-acts after that.
This all happened about 6 months ago.

I have never used a saver account because of the problems I have read about.

I thought someone had found one that worked - but I was wrong

Add the savers to PP, watch your Bnk account on-line and add the micro's as soon as they land, now here is your choice as what to do but here is what i do, once i add the micro's i remove the savers and then when i need some money i use the withdraw option as normal and then you are asked to attach a bnk account, i just re-attach the savers and you are not re-asked for the DD mandate.

Every saver account i have added like this has stayed added.

Ah, that sounds like a good technqiue you are using.

Can I just ask: do PP let you re-add an already confirmed bank with no problems?

Are you just using the saver as a £1900 limit account vs. a £650 limit account. You may have found a good way to get an extra £1000 from the life of the PP this way...

Sounds like a great technique.

Why only £1900?? Send the necessary docs in and there's no limits at all
