Default Got paypal and ebay back!

Just thought id let everyone that tried to help me know that have managed to get both my account back!

I had paypal limited with over 4k in the the account being held for 180days and ebay suspended.
After countless phone calls it was always no sorry sir this is a permenant limitation and permenant suspenesion you are no longer and never again aloud to use the services!
So i decided to email every depeartment in paypal i had lots of replys all saying no sorry sir. I even had emails saying "we have thoroughly reviewed your case and we think it is best we part ways, your money may be held for upto 180days"! Everytime i got a no i just sent the email to every department again. Then finally i had a reply from someone in the executive escalations department who said he would look into my case and be in touch in 72hrs. An hour later i had an email saying my account had been fully restored. This was after being told countless times there was nothing i could do and nothing would ever change it!

So onto my ebay which was still suspended! I sent an email to them explaining that my paypal had been restored so could my ebay be restored aswell? No sorry sir this is a final descision you can no longer sell with ebay but you can bid and buy? I tried again but was also told no! So i went back the the person that restored my paypal account explained the situation and the next morning i had an email back saying my ebay would be restored immediately!

I'm not bragging about it but a lot of people on here said just give up and get a stealth account. I always considered myself to good with both services. I dont use them for huge financial gain, more just pocket money. I was convinced i was in the right and my account shouldnt of been closed so if your the same as me dont just give up on it keep trying and you never know. At least now i can still use all my correct details with no lies or secrets and risk of getting banned again.

For anyone interested it's taken me about 2 weeks to get my accounts back so not long really. I definatley reccomend emails rather than phone calls, people on the other end of the phone just dont care! If you can email the right person who will acctually look at your case than you have half a chance!

Good luck.

I would still suggest to set up a few stealth account and build them in the background should this happen again. No doubt your account will be weaker now and your policy compliance may have took a hit.

Default Specifics??

Do you have a list of emails/contacts for both ebay and paypal? I would like to see if this works. I'm fearful as this is a legit account and like you, its only limited me to buying. I have stealth accounts but would love to have this account back to being a sellers account because of the 8 years of feedbacks.. Please PM me with any helpful info.. Thanks in advance.

Here you go these are all the emails address i sent my email to. Not all of them work but most do.

PayPal Email Addresses

Avoid using PayPal's automated email submission center -- that email goes straight to New Delhi, India where you will get a prompt reply back that has nothing to do with what you asked in the first place. For faster results, email the following departments (where people with decision making authority can help you or not help you):

moldenburg@paypal.com (Michael Moldenburg, Paypal Complaints)
sthompson@paypal.com (Scott Thompson, PayPal President)
mhentges@paypal.com (Mary Hentges, CFO PayPal)
crme@paypal.com (PayPal Office of Executive Escalations)
appeal@paypal.com
harbor1@paypal.com
account-review@paypal.com
ppelce@paypal.com
cardreview@paypal.com
complaint-response@paypal.com
abuse@paypal.com
Europeanservices@paypal.com
resolutions@paypal.com
appeals@paypal.com
compliance@paypal.com
escalations@paypal.com
webform@paypal.com
service@paypal.com (Unmonitored)
spoof@paypal.com
complaints@paypal.com
aup@paypal.com
press@paypal.com (Let public relations know you are filing complaints)
apires@paypal.com (Amanda Pires -- Media Relations Contact)
chargebackresponse@paypal.com
pending_reversal@paypal.com
global2@paypal.com
intl@paypal.com
ppe_courtesycredit@paypal.com
BoEappeal@paypal.com

Tip: Send your problem to EVERY PayPal email address that you can find, not just one. That way you have different people and different departments dealing with your problem.

I wonder how long I should wait before starting emailing all departments. My account is currently under review, they said I will hear back in 24 to 48 hours. But I know Paypal lies. Any suggestions?

I'm going to do this right now, thanks for the eMail list.

When I was limited I rang them up twice a day to speak to two different reps as I heard if you get the right person they will restore your account

The OP's success on getting his accounts restored was definitely the exception rather than the rule.

By all means send the emails but dont pin your hopes on it and definitely have a (stealth) back up plan.

the op reason for his account getting limited in the first place is probably different than the reason many of us have been limited.

I emailed the people and got another review on my account, sadly it was denied but they went into slightly more detail to why I was limited to the first time. They still wouldn't tell me even though I know why

Yeah I used only the ones on the list, some of the emails didn't work and returned an error but a few did. My email was very long and relative to my account so you couldn't use it.

This was a personal email one of them sent me (was a template but wasn't auto)

They limited me because of an an account I made when I was a kid but now they're saying it wasn't because of that so it gives me a little more hope. My eBay had 100% positive feedback, 100% buyer resolution and I achieved powerseller and TSR in like 4 months. I had probably 2 complaints throughout eBay that ALL got resolved, all of my ratings were 4.8+, I dispatched EVERYTHING the same day, the items I sold were legit, I was a registered business with Royal Mail (still don't know what's going to happen here as I need to post 5k a year and I got banned half way through so it's possible they will just fine me 2.5k) yet this is why they said they have denied my most recent appeal:

I was making them enough money it just doesn't make sense at all

Learn to understand paypal never makes sense.

Usually if there is a delinquent account from the past, that can be the basis of (future) permanent limitations.

Should that account have been when you were a kid ( & aged under 18) & the account went pear-shaped that can be regarded as two strikes in the eyes of paypal. You were 'bad' once, you are bad forever (in their eyes)
