Default Am I a candidate for stealth?

Hi,

I'm a uk seller. I'm limited to 1000 items a month with 700 feedback and 99.8 %.

I have just had to reduce my listings from 15 to 2 because I am on 911 items sold with 5 days of the month left and would rather sell my most profitable bits till end of month.

I don't want to keep running into this every month and so am I candidate to start thinking about stealth?

Things are going well at the moment and I have in 3 months jumped from 100 items to 250 items to 1000 items - the last increase was lucky. With that in mind I can't see myself being raised again anytime soon ? After reading on here think I'm lucky I have 1000 in short space of time?

I have power seller now etc - does anyone know what my next limit would be or is the next step no limit?

Do I risk my main account and go stealth?

Thanks G

you could risk your NOW account if mistakes are made and its usually the first time someone sets up a stealth things go wrong, you would need to know what your doing in regards to keeping everything separate.

are you a candidate for stealth, well that for you to decide but my answer would be yes to anyone that take ebay seriously.

If you keep pushing the boundaries (list the max every month) then you should see you limits keep rising.

My limits increased from 100 to 300 to 1500. Got a bit too carried away and started listing too many. Paypal asked me for docs...so just an advice, dont get too carried away. Go slow.
Also, make a couple of stealths for back up and go slow on them too.

What docs did they ask for? Stuff to do with hmrc? We're you able to produce?

Thanks

If you do decide to go stealth, (which you should) as long as you do it right, anything you had going on before that, and anything you do from now on, will never be LINKED to anything else "IF" you do it right. This is what we do. We don't get caught. All the info is right here. Its not rocket science. Good luck!!

They have no right to ask for any tax related stuff... it's simply none of their business. So they will not ask for that. If they request documents from you, it is going to be ID, utility bills and invoices.

thanks for that - I guess i had better get all my ID's upto date at the correct addresses.

Would being on the electoral role help with limits on paypal? i.e they trust you more?

without going off topic ... my partner who i don't live with and none of my accounts are linked there but use her Static IP address when i use my own ebay has said i can use an account in her name - paypal and ebay?

I know using a partners account isnt classed as stealth but should i jump on that oppertunity aswell or do i still have to be very careful which computer i log in with etc. Can i add my own bank details to her paypal?

Does the Stealth Book cover this?

I agree with elijah, I mean everyone's eligible for a stealth in sense, theyre always good to have but if you dont know what your doing wrong now to mess up a normal account, then what difference will a stealth make?
