Default Changing Phone number on EB+PP from landline to mobile - any issues?

I'm considering changing some of my stealth account phone numbers from a landline to a mobile number.

I currently use soho66 (£2.50/month/number), but can get unlocked phone with charger and activated sim card for £10.

So in the long run it should be cheaper and easier to have mobile instead of soho66 number.

Anyone see any issues with this? Raised flags you think?

no probs

no need for landlines, unless specifically required for some country verifications....

Never had a problem with this.

However I would say that soho66 is ideal if you have multiple accounts as you can have all calls routed to any number you want e.g. one mobile and using their connection whisper you know which number the call is for.

Much easier than trying to carry dozens of dedicated mobiles around with you everywhere

@noneother

I have used soho66 since i began stealth and it is great however to be honest i have only had 2 or 3 calls in total from ebay since starting stealth...

I am just going to plug all my phones into a multi socket on a timer to charge 1-2 hours per day and just leave them all on loud with a label on.

When you have a lot of numbers on soho66 it starts to get pretty expensive each month plus tracking them gets complicated when accountts are being set up etc.

This way if an account goes down i just throw away the sim and insert a new one!

What do you do when you leave the 'office' with dedicated mobiles handling your calls, take them all with you?

£2 a month per business line expensive? Hardly

Not sure what you mean about tracking them being complicated, always found it pretty straight forward myself

Imo it's much more professional looking to e/b and p/p as well as potential customers to have a 'landline' number on a business account rather than a mobile.

Good point, i will be with the phones pretty much all office hours - i have only had calls during office hours!

Hardly expensive I know but I have had £50+ bills each month and yearly this is over £600.

Offers keep popping up for mobile+accessories+sim for £5 delivered so this should work out cheaper in the long run.

I completely agree with you landline is much more professional!

wow, that's a total bargain, considering you can usually unlock any phone for free using google and get SIMs from Orange that don't need activating for free too. Or, if Orange won't send you any more, your local £1 shop sells them for............a quid.
