^ Exactly my point. Unless it is a random ban, do these even occur?
I used the same listing template as I used to on an old account but didn't think this would matter. I will see if I can get anything out of them in the meantime.
Thanks | what about date of birth ?
What about items and genral location.
^^these along with your name could get you^^
What about listing pictures and diascription < Alll New ?
what about laptop user account, what about i.p addresses.
Add a couple of the about together and your doomed, you name is a massive give away so if you use it then 1-2 things added to that will see you out of there like it has. |

So what was the activity? Category of listing? | How about reading post 6 fully.
The OP gives the exact break down for you
:ranger: |
| j4ck100 | 03-07-2013 08:02 AM | Contacted them and as expected they have told me nothing.
I also now remember the reason I used my real name, because on the last account, eBay sent a letter to the address with a pin, and here at university there is a post room and you need ID to get your letters.
So what's peoples best guess as to what got me ?
techbytes_uk 12:52:09
I just listed 1 item, that I genuinely have ready to ship to the winner

Thanks for waiting. Firstly, looking at your account, I can see that there are some serious policy breaches, so I'm afraid we won't be reinstating your account. Please bear in mind that as your account is suspended, you won't be able to buy or sell on eBay or register a new account. You will still have to pay any fees you owe to eBay.
techbytes_uk 12:53:28
How do you mean policy breaches?
techbytes_uk 12:53:35
I haven't breached any policies?
Wilma Rogers 12:53:45
You'll find more detail on this under the 'Abusing eBay' heading of the eBay User Agreement. To read this, please open a new window on your browser and copy this link into it: eBay User Agreement |

You only need 3 things to link you. |

Name and listing template are the only things. | So your picture was different? Did you remove the exif, so that they cannot trace the camera?
Was the title of the listing worded differently?
Was the account location different?
Because we know this :
1. Sold same item
2. Ebay account name is the same
3. Sold a computer component - which in some instances is high risk. |

2. Never sold an LCD inverter before
Something just isn't adding up |

If you are using address that is used by hundreds of students then I'm going to guess that this is what got you linked. Surely someone would have used that address before |

| Stigger | 03-08-2013 03:15 AM | Same full name at the same university...sheeesh......
DID YOU USE SAME D.O.B ???
SAME USER ACCOUNT......
to be honest....its hard to tell because you could have linKed yourself from a few directions and it sounds like you have to be honest.
Just start again with guidence from here and you might be o.k. |
| beaches | 03-08-2013 03:18 AM | Any thing Better than cc cleaner???? |

| Stigger | 03-08-2013 03:22 AM | Deep freeze but you need to know who to use it,,,,,this program returns your computer to a state before you used it....download 100000000000 vriues and spyware reboot and its like nothings happend. |
Which nubayer has such an impeccable listing title with correct grammer, punctuation and specificity as this:? Quote:
Compaq Presario CQ61 HP G61 Laptop LCD Screen Inverter 15.6" UK
| Expect spelling errors at the very least from what is a largely uneducated mass of eBay's user-base.
There is more discernible from detecting past/well-experienced sellers making a comeback with 0 feedback, but I wager it's a horrendous pain coding such behaviours into their systems.
Why write UK in the title? Post the complete ad if possible. |
1. 'Grammar' not 'grammer' :yar:
2. If you keep an eye on typos, you can actually snag things for cheaper...yes some sellers will fight back but it's fun. |
Thank you. I too am in very excellent company. :yar: |
| beaches | 03-09-2013 11:55 AM | I have One question about stealth for ebay. Just use a real common name not a unique name or odd ball name? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:57 PM. | |
