Default Correct number format on UK Ebay

What is correct number format to put in? Can`t receive a pin code from Ebay.
I have some different virtual UK phone numbers, all forwarded to my mobile. (I`am in another country, not in UK) Gmail account is verified by the same number without problem. I can call to these UK numbers and can pick up my mobile, so they are fully working number.
I try to (+44) (...)
and (xxxx) (.....)
and (0xxx) (....)
and (044) (.....)
But can`t receive call.
A guy from support cays that I must try (0xxxx) (.....) but the same situation. Can`t receive a call.

I try it on two different UK accounts, but nothing.

Any ideas?

Try 44 and leave the 0 at the start of your number off.

So for instance if your number is: 0208...

Try 44208...

May fix your problem.

Bit of a guess but it might be because either:

1. It's going to a mobile so try forwarding to a land line instead.

2. It recognised it's forwarding to a line outside the UK due to a different ringing tone. For example if I call a number abroad their are bleeps before the call connects and not standard ringing.

There's also the possibility that because you are trying to dial a number by having to add the 44 at the start it sees your not in the UK and wont make the call.

Sometimes you can ask for it to be texted, see if that's works.

If mobile number is 07505 123456 it would then be +447505 123456.

Often it means that the number has been "burned" by another person, if you are using a forwarding service.

Could be worth speaking to the company that you got the number from and asking them if they know what's causing the problem.

If the number is not burned as Elijah suggested, a chat with the techs may be needed.

Incorrect settings plus trying to receive a call from ebay are big trouble.
