Default Paypal email about direct debit

Hi all

I just recieved this email from paypal

Dear *** ***

We attempted to cancel our Direct Debit Instruction (DDI) from your bank account ending in ****.

The transaction was declined during our processing.

Therefore, to protect your account, access your online banking and cancel the DDI yourself. You can also call or visit your bank to do so manually.

We look forward to continuing to offer you the number one way to send and receive money online.

Why they want to cancel the direct debit i did not do anything like that?

Just had 2 of my stealth account DDs returned and cancelled.

But 2 of my other stealth PP DDs went through fine. They were all done with the same bank in the same manner?!?!

I have attempted to re-submit them in the hope that they will work. Fingers crossed.

Mainly because they are not designed or intended to have DD mandates attached to them so they eventually the bank will reject the mandate.

Most UK banks are good with the exception of Lloyds which should be avoided.

Not smile.

I do not use the bank in any case.

Other banks are still giving hassles.
