Can't take you up on that offer.

Prohibited items would not make it thro' Australian Customs.

Hope you are not risking international shipping

There is no reason to be selling anything at a loss just to build up feedback. I have more than enough things to resell and make a decent profit and fill my monthly sales limit.

I mean even without thinking about it if you live in a town / city there will be £1 shops where you could buy all kinds of things that you could at the very least double your money - I've even resold some things from the £1 shops for £4.99!

Plus if you go in places like T.K.Maxx or any high street stores when they have clearance sales on and buy cheap discounted stuff that you can easily resell on and make very good profits everytime.

Remember not everyone lives near to large shopping centres and to folks living way out in the middle of nowhere, just driving to the nearest town could cost them more in petrol / diesel than whatever they might pay for said item you are flogging on Ebay that you picked up for a fiver on T.K.Maxx's clearance rail. Its a no brainer!

What works for you W OR K S

Personally i like to make money straight off the bat.

But at least the o.p's way works and gets his account rolling, i mean at least it puts money in thre PP to cover future listings and so on .

You need to get with it.

I cannot teach you everything...........

HINT---

Lots of products made in Canada that people in the USA and other countries want. Look around see.

I am close to a manufacture of a particular item here in Florida. They only do mail order and have a small gift shop. They do not do ebay or anything else and rely on former resident and of course vacation people from around the world.

I ask if I can buy in bulk wholesale and they said if you have a vendor license yet.

Has been good for me as many people repeat purchases that were here on vacation and love the stuff.

How is selling items at a loss putting money anywhere? Surely 'loss' means losing money, yeah it might build up some feedback but its not really good business sense!

I find the cheaper the item the more feedback I get as people believe they are getting a good deal or a bargain. It all depends on your customer base.

Here you go.

Buy 500 #000 Poly Bubble Mailers on eBay. Then buy 50 #1 Poly Bubble Mailers. Then list BIN lots of 10 #000 Mailers and ship them in the #1's. They're light, so postage costs are low, they're indestructible, and chances are you're selling to a fellow eBay seller = Feedback!!!

On a plate.

Selling mailers is great I also do this in the beginning to build feedback and I use them myself so it's a great product to start with low risk item, usually selling to another ebay seller so you will almost always get the feedback and I but 2000 at a time so I get a good price and it is a product I use and u can get feedback and turn a small profit

Latest trend I have noticed is selling recipes for a penny to build feedback

some sellers go as far as advertising "Build your eBay feedback by buying my recipe"

Wonder how long that will last...

Some succeed, many fail - eB is not so loose and can nail the account - even after listing has ended
