Default private feedback

hi i buy items on ebay and resell on ebay.
i have 2 accounts one buyer 1 seller. my question the buyer account is it okay to make it private feedback ebay says it does not recoommend this so am i going to bring attention to my two legit accounts?
Is it frowned upon to have it set to private. my only reason is to stop people seeing to accounts and seeing what i am doing. which is not wrong but makes buyers think.
thoughts please

cheers

You can make buying account feedbacks private thats not a problem or doubt it would flag your accounts in anyway so its pretty safe.

You can make your buying feedbacks private without issue. Just make sure your activity - like your sellers` accounts - stays good...dont cheat sellers, dont make too many claims, dont shill bid...etc

It's OK to set your buyer's account to private feedback.

Maintain the account well and avoid issues.

Hi thanks for the reply i dont shill bid for my sale items, but i have thought of upping bids on an item from someone else using the seller and buyer account only reason being that say an item is at 99 pence and i would like to purchase it i find that if i win for 99p then they find excuses not to send it out etc but if i up the bid using two accounts they get a better price and generally willl send the item? would this be wrong?

the dont make two many claims bit? do you mean if people do not pay for items do not report them or claim back Final value fee back?

never cheat sellers as feedbacka and DSR are important i have learned to treat sellers well be punctual with getting back to them etc.

Just been looking to try to change it and i cant find it anywhere. this is what ebay says
To make your Feedback Profile public or private:

Click the "site map" link at the top of any eBay page.
Under the "Feedback" heading in the right-hand column, click the "Make Feedback Public or Private" link. You may be asked to sign in.
Select the option you prefer and click the "submit" button.

Sounds very simple but i cant seem to find it anywhere? can see feedback in my ebay can see it in drop down menus at top right of page but cant find it to change to private?

That is another form of shill bidding

As for claiming non-paying buyers...for sure, that's not an issue - I do that for the deadbeat buyers
