The person at the Post Office will ask how much the item is worth, do I tell them £529 which is the price I bought the iPhone 5 for or the selling price on eBay?

Do I give the buyer the Apple receipt or do I keep that? Also how would I pack the item as I normally use a plastic bin bag for parcels but I don't know that's the correct way

I would tell them the price I bought it for if I had the receipt because that makes a claim a lot simpler if its needed.

Keep the receipt, give them a photocopy if they ask for one

Pack it in a way that means it will not get damaged.... Bubble wrap springs to mind generally.

The more the item is worth, the cost of Special Delivery will cost more? I won't skimp out on it but just wondering

I do use bubble wrap and 3-4 layers of it, but after the bubble wrap section, is it best to use plastic bin bag to wrap around it or use something else?

Whatever else you do, NEVER let that receipt leave your possession.

Is none of this sounding like a pain yet?

Worry of the buyer, the postage, the handling, the payment.

Rethink before it is too late.

Good Luck

Yes it will cost more to have a higher insurance value on the item. Only an extra £1 or so, so well worth it.

So long as you use a few layers of bubble wrap, the external wrapping really doesn't matter. Just use what ever you have, and make it look neat.

How do I charge my buyer insurance? Also do you know the estimate of how much it will cost to post it with Royal Mail Special Delivery?
Best person to ask? Royal Mail Service counter - get there

Sell it and get a Samsung S4.

The iphone 5 is overrated. I used to own one.

The paint chipped off the sides.

The battery lasted 4 hours and the screen is too small

Apple apps are a ripoff!
