Re: Halifax Online Saver Alternative ??

when Halifax returned the monies to PayPal this was the nudge to limit my PayPal account so yes they don't swop information but they rely on actions on the bank and then proceed
with the limits as if they were talking to each other

I'm not sure it limited your account but yes, they're clamping down on mismatched names for sure

If LLoyds is no good for mismatch I am taking my 100K and moving it to the Co-op and opening 2 current accounts
or should I spread it over 3 different banks?

Steve',

:focus:

So now you are thinking of satander?

going for a basic account in your own name?

Are you aware that you have to be careful about burning up bank accounts with your recent history?

Do understand that more stuff ups will see your being excluded from getting accounts.

Please be very careful

:peace:

I very much doubt it was anything to do with the Halifax. What exactly does the limitation say and what are they asking for? Give as much info as possible.

I don't think so but paypal will sometimes limit your account when it happens and call it suspicious activity

Tesco and Halifax were personally no good for me and thinkmoney worked better and was easy to setup online but they charge a monthly fee of £14.95
