Default Eccount issues.

Wondering if any of you can actually answer this question.

Basically, i've got an eccount and i've been withdrawing to it for sometime, there is about 3000 in there.

I was asked to send in my ID and DOCS to verify I own the account, I sent this in and volia account is unblocked, this has happened 4 times now with them which is ridiculous, always wanting my passport and my utility bill, refusing to accept they've EVER had them in the past.

However this time they came up with a different way of asking.

They told me i'd need to provide a screen shot of my PAYPAL account for them to see The account is in my name.

I told them i'd like to close down my account and they could send me the remaining funds (just over 3000) via cheque.

The guy on the phone said "well I can't do this what i'd have to do is cancel your account and send all the funds back to paypal but dont worry they will all go back into your paypal account" Is this true? I thought if he was to send all the funds back they'd simply go into paypal, but not be returned to MY account.

Or am I mistaken here? and they will 100% certainly be sent to my account.

I can easily withdraw them by adding another bank account so that is no real issue to me.

I was always under the impression if they returned the money it would go back to paypal, but not into my account (some of the money has been in over a month)

the bank obviously is flagging each time or sometimes a deposit comes in with stealth name. some accounts do not want this.

if the bank guy on the phone said it will go back to paypal, then assume it would.

it would be worse if the bank held on to the money, so you are lucky they agree to send it back, because now you can add a different bank.

let us know which bank it is, if you can btw....

Sounds like Eccount had issues with mismatching name deposits.

If the chap on the phone says it will go back to your PayPal, then assume it will.

Add another account and withdraw to that instead. Before you add another account make sure they have no know issues with mismatching name deposits.

Well to be fair, if they refused to send it back, i'd simply take them to court, By legal rights unless they can prove i've done something illegal, (Which ive not) i've just been selling my old items, The money can be transfered in any name I want lol.

I find it hard with "just trust him" because if it goes wrong it will make the case alot harder, I was thinking of contacting my solicitor over it (name is not stealth either by the way) should of cleared this part up before.

But in the long run it's easier if I knew the money would go back into my paypal account.

has anyone had any similar experiences?

It was also flagged because I attempted to bank transfer the 3000 not the name issue.

I was transfering it to my uncles account

Default Paypal withdrawal to Eccount Money bank

Does anyone use Eccount money bank account here? I would like to know how long withdrawals take from paypal to eccount money account.

Also, would withdrawals to clearcash account have the faster payments option?

Regards.

Need to reread the thread. Eccount is not a good account to use with PP.
