Natwest on the other hand are great. Really easy to open basic accounts and then add savers. When opening basics with them, I have the option of selecting the branch I want to operate the account from. This way I have a range of sort codes. All opened up online and the details are available immediately.

Nationwide staff are helpful too. Never had a problem with mismatched names either, whether it is PP or AMA.

Some will say to stay away from TSB but I have been running a stealth PP with their basic account for nearly 3 years without a problem. Good staff in my branch too.

RBS good. They will be Williams and Glynn soon.

COOP good. BOS good.

Yet to try Yorkshire Bank, Ulster Bank and Clydesdale Bank. Next year for these.

All my bank accounts are basics with added savers.

Iv been using TSB for about 3 years as well not had any trouble (touch wood ) But im just wandering if anything will happen because i have to shift money from Ulsterbank who closed me down so the moneys gona build up quick

Bumping this thread.

Anybody received a significant amount of money from their business via paypal in a 12 month period (£50k+) in to a savers acc using completely mis matched names ? if so which bank accepted it without freezing your account due to mis matched names ?

And does it help if you have banked with them for many years and already have a business account with them for a totally different business ?

Good bump james - not in my UK accounts but yes in CAN previously and touching that in US prior to the whole SSN deal. I'm looking at ramping up some UK activity so I'm following this
