Default PayPal Bank Errors

Hi all,

I just had two emails come through from PayPal, what do they mean?

I have paid this months seller fees fine and have more than enough of a reserve in there for any refunds / chargebacks. Reimbursements are setup to PayPal and as before plenty of funds there.

Reversal: Insufficient Funds in Bank Account

Dear X,

Your PayPal Bank Funding payment cannot be completed because your bank reported insufficient funds in your bank account to cover the transfer amount. As a result, your Bank Funding payment has been reversed.

Also,

Dear X,

You recently tried to transfer funds from your ROYAL BANK OF SCOT bank account.

ROYAL BANK OF SCOT declined your funds transfer.

Because ROYAL BANK OF SCOT declined your transfer, this transaction has been cancelled.

Very confused as I haven't tried to withdraw any funds as I'm sitting sunning it in Greece without touching eBay / PayPal so not quite sure what this is.

Anyone shed any light?

Thanks

Very odd - how exactly did you pay the fees in advance - with a VCC? or with the pp funds and received receipt?

Sure is VERY ODD when the OP posts the info yet you appear to be unable to read.

Three weeks back we had an email that said the bank declined the transfer like this. (Same bank). Bank took responsibilty saying they had had internal problems....
I wonder if this is similar?

Paid from PP balance and still left a huge reserve in there. Sometimes pay by VCC but most get a receipt from PP.

I wonder if your pp funds were actually on hold so your payment didnt go through and PP ended up going for your bank

On hold without any notice of same?

If so, these glitches have the potential to do real harm to an unsuspecting seller.

Users MUST be so careful with paypal UK.
