Default Advice on buying a new phone to keep an eye on ebay activity

Hi

Can anyone please advise me on which phone/service would be a good choice for keeping an eye on multiple ebay accounts.

I am quite confused as to the do's & don't whist accessing messages & viewing ebay accounts on the phone.

Would the PC rules apply?
Would I only be able to view emails/ebay messages & not respond to them from the phone to avoid account linkages or is it safe to do so?
Would I be able to use Thunderbird?

Thank you kindly for your input

My iPhone allows me to run over 30 accounts with ease. It can be a great tool if used correctly, there's many apps that can help u organize everything.

And apple doesn't have flash , so no flash cookies, but I mainly use it as a tool in conjunction with my PC, I don't use it to log in and out if accounts, very rarely

But great mail center, all emails go to one inbox letting u know what u have to do at all times , just don't click on any links

IPVIEW and Notebook app, great for tracking IPs

Password vault app keeps all stealth info on every account in order with all passwords.

Text+ app great to get free numbers in any state and Canada , now they also expanded to 200 other countries

And of course all my bank account apps

JUST NEVER DOWN LOAD EBAY/PAYPAL APPS

hi

many thanks for your input

so basically:
it is safe to view the messages from an app such as thunderbird - but not safe to use the reply links?

I am able to view each eb account - as long as the phone doesnt have flash - & using specific apps?

many thanks

Agree with Dmshark25

Am finding the iphone great for stealth purposes.

For those of us 'challenged' to use these toys, it is very user friendly.

Great suggestions Dmshark25! I don't have the iPhone, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 and I'm using it in similar fashion. I have all of my gmail accounts and just browse through them once I see a new message...always mindful of not clicking any links.

One concern I have is I DO have Adobe Flash pre-installed on my phone. Would this cause an issue?

sorry if I have missed this answer but could you please confirm the following:

I can view multiple eb accounts (not email accounts) on the phone safely without linkage?

many thanks

Dmshark: what mail app do you have on the iphone that lets you do text only? My default mail app on my iphone has HTML/images enabled by default.

It's the iPhone messaging center, I have gmail accounts and u can add as many emails as u like through settings so they all go to one inbox .

Again I just read the emails I don't click on the links

And I rarely log in with my phone , if I do it's to respond to an email if I'm away from my main computer for each account.

And I never respond from my email , I use email as a link ( and i use the term loosely)to all my accounts, anything u ever need to do comes up on email.

If I do log in via iPhone , again I don't like to do it often just for simple things if their are necessarily and I'm away from my home or something. Make sure wifi is off, that is unless ur on the appropriate IP, if not and u are using carrier data IP, switch IPs first go to settings than data switch off than on and in settings clear cookies, casche, and all history, and than log on to your account through a browser

Arent you concerned that you will be linked via the ebay images in the message you receive via gmail?

If ebay see images from different emails sent to different accounts being pulled from the same IP, would that not link you?

You would disable images and beacons - option available in gmail
