Activity: 0% Longevity: 69% | | eBay app abroad
I'm going away Wednesday for 9 days till the following Friday to Spain and just wanted to know if I'd be safe using the eBay app on my phone for one of my accounts?
Basically I'm going to schedule listings listings before I go away to start 3 days before I return home but am I ok use the app to check my listings, reply to emails and also to do some research on products and prices searching items on eBay putting things in my watch list etc?
I won't be listing anything on the eBay while I'm away as they will be scheduled before I leave the uk
Thanks guys

If u have stealth accounts the app is not recommended just use the search feature here and u will see many threads explaining why it cannot be used.
As far as using ur account abroad and logging in using foreign IP addresses this can be a security issue , I wouldn't list anything or make any withdrawals it could raise flags and limit ur account.
If this is your only account and not stealth than yes u can use the app and if it's ur real account u could notify ebay u are traveling and will be using there site
But if stealth No app no calls

Don't use the eBay app - better off making the listings inactive than going on the app.

Also there will be a security issue with an IP from a different country especially if ebay and Paypal are not warned a head of time
But I hate calling in , I have nothing but bad experiences because if u run stealth right it may never be looked at by a human eye, but once u call u attract attention and it's the beginning of the end.
One if the great things about ebay it Is not like a normal business where if u close down a few days here and there u may lose business, with ebay u can take a week 2 or whatever off and come back and not skip a beat, so just take off post u will be away and respond to issues on such a date

Thanks for your replies, I won't be listing while I'm away I will schedule my listings to start before I leave the uk
The account I use the eBay app with is my real details and not stealth I won't be touching my stealth accounts while I'm away
I wasn't sure if the app would be ok for browsing on eBay while I'm away and answering any messages if needs be?
If its a problem being logged in then I'll just log out of the app before I leave the uk then when I browse from Spain I'm not actually logged into my account
Thanks

i myself have 2 stealth accounts, which i use ebay app on 2 phones so each has its own acount and never logged using any other account,
they are very cheap android phones £40 , sim is t-mobile with 12 months unlimited internet was £25 have 2 sims so accounts are totally separated not linked , i have it this was as i can reply fast to messages and can also re list , without having to use laptop to log in each time and making sure IP is different
i dont know what sim you could use for abroad with 3g, but then as its abroad may not be good idea, but within UK i find this very useful

I'm 100% not logged in I logged out before leaving the uk then deleted the app then re-installed it so I'll only be browsing products on eBay and not logging in

That would be effective to stop linking.
MM78 has made that suggestion in other threads. |

Atomic Web Browser will be a better "App" abroad or at home. Abroad the IP may become an issue.
