Default Increasing limits on new account

I have made a few new ebay accounts.
And once the paypal account is verified, i log into ebay and click the
'Request higher selling allowances' link and usually it increases from 10 items to 25 items, however i keep getting a glitch page saying 'page not found'

Is anyone else getting this??

It's been glitchy for several weeks now.

Just hit back on the browser and re-do until it goes through. Can take many tries for it to go through.

You need to keep doing it until it says limits have been increased to 25.

Thanks for clarifying on the need for many repeats - was worried that too many tries would lead to potential limitation...like entry of incorrect passwords too many times example

You could try clearing the cookies and the history before attempting it again. Or try to use a different browser. It has worked for me in the past.

I bought 5 accounts, and cant list a damn thing on any of the accounts due to this error, I enter the pin and now when I click "confirm" on selling, it takes me to the same page, I tried over 90 times yesterday clicking back and reconfirming and nothing.

The above "glitch" is not preventing you from selling.

We are talking about auto-increasing selling limits from 10 to 25 items. PIN numbers don't come into it.

Sounds like you are talking about creating the seller accounts where the PIN is sent as part of the phone confirmation?

I have the exact same error, when an account is first say created or purchased and I click sell, I can't even sell the very first item, normally I list 10 then it asks me to attach to paypal etc as proof then I go upto 25. However I can't even list the first items at all now. it just takes me to "page can not be found" over and over.

Identical in every way to what you guys are saying except to be it's happening on my first Sale.

I entered the pin in as usual, then after that it simply wont work.

This page may have moved or is no longer available

Please try one of the following options:

Check the Web address you entered to make sure if it's correct.
Try to access the page directly from the eBay Home page or site map, instead of using a bookmark. If the page has moved, reset your bookmark.
Enter a few words in the Search box below then click the Search button. If you prefer, click a link to visit a category or other part of eBay.
If you are in searching in Help, click the Back button to go back to your search results and select another Help page link.
Report this technical issue or view known technical issues

the error message, i've also tried 3 different browsers, clearing cache, cookies, etc.

Its a glitch, leave it for now and try later....
This is NOT the same issue as the original post damac. The topic is about increase the selling limits not about not being able to sell. If you have issues please create a new topic about this...

Had same issue also. I clicked back on browser and re-entered PayPal password about 15 times and it eventually went through and increased my limits from 10 listings £650 to 25 listings £750.

Yes I've just done it now, I had to repeat the process about 18 times before I got it to work for me. What a farce!

I've got ten accounts all with a verified paypal linked to them, some has let me increase from 10 items to 25, but some want me to have a letter sent to address with a pin in to confirm and get the increase!

Anyone know why this is?

I created all the accounts exactly the same.

The letter being sent with a PIN is random. This is assuming it's a personal ebay account.

Is this specific to only uk accounts? Just tried it on USA account and was presented with a list of history questions. I get scared when I see stuff like this lol

The answer and solution is in this thread. It's a glitch.
