Default ebay established account !

Hello everyone

i was wondering if you have a established seller account and you link it to a "new" created account to increase your selling limits , does the total sale for example £1000, affect both accounts in sales or do this mean you can sell up to 2,000 due to the two account your operating.

can someone shine some light on this subject
Thanks for taking your time answering this question
regards

Best avoided. Limit will be spread across eBay accounts generally

When you link 1 account to another account....the selling limits may get split between both, also if one account goes down....eventually the second will too....Just a bad idea.

I did this with a couple US accounts and the limits were not split and in one case on the second account I received 350/15000 limit

The problem with doing this is your accounts become more fragile and one mistake or selling the same item on both accounts will cause a problem and a problem with one is a problem with both
Best to stay separate

Do that and ebay UK will limit the account.

Why? Because it perceives you have made another account to get around the selling limits.

oops!
