hi has anyone ever got a selling increase via the chat function on ebay?

just curious as i don't want to phone in, as i would rather just wait and create more accounts than draw attention on myself,

Unless it is a business account, they won't entertain you. If it is I'm fairly sure you need to phone in. Be prepared with ID, invoices & to discuss your business plan.

thanks for the advice, i recently changed to a buiness account but i might just wait for the increases natuarally.

i know the calling in is best avoided, but how detailed are the details i have to give?

Depends very much on what you have sold previously on the account.

thanks, well most of the stuff i sold was second hand so i wouldn't have a great amount of supplier details, so i would need to explain that to them.

are the workers hard to deal with? once you have gave them the details they want do they just give you a new specified higher limit or can you negotiate and charm them round a little

I like the second statement better about making more accounts - dont play the risk card

chat is no good for limit increases, they do not have the authority, you have to call.

you do not give them supplier details usually, but if they ask what the goods are, you can tell them any goods you like, they do not follow up that you actually sell those in the end....
